Anyone know if the DLC for this is actually useful in making the game easier?

Its just that I'm finding impossible well… impossible.

I just can't be bothered going through it again, due to the fact that my PS3 broke down its ended up being my 5th playthrough.

Theres an odd glitch where your suit can sometimes get carryied over. My level 5 suit got carried onto my impossible and I did it that way. Maybe if you research how to do it, get the military suit in an easier difficulty and carry it over, you might have some luck! agree

Cheers, had a google and it seems that I've put myself out of the running for that glitch since I've already made an effort at starting impossible.  angry

I'll try it anyway later, see if I have a decent save for it.

I'm only a handful of trophies from Platinuming this; when I get a bit more time I will try to finish the last ones.  I need to upgrade all weapons (got about four left to do – I'm on a second play through on level three), get an enemy onto a gravity panel five times and complete it on the highest difficulty (which is going to be the tough one).  I also need to find the Peng treasure (which, thanks to a guide, I know where to find) and get 30 kills with another 3 or 4 weapons.

In fact, talking about it is putting me in the mood; I might play some more tonight :)

would anyone say this game is easy? It just I like the sound of tis game, but I can barely do the demo. I dont want a game where I keep dying. Is the easiest difficulty easy? Like how many hits does it take before you die? Also does anyone know whether the demo was on the easiest difficulty. I want this game but I want to be able to complete it.

Thanks

I didn't survive the demo throughout 4 attempts.

Ive died maybe once or twice during the game, due to my own stupid mistakes. Im playing on normal difficulty.

I think the demo was just showing off various enemy types and weapons available to you, don't let it put you off. Its a good game and i doubt you'll die on easy or normal mode very often.

I was put off of this game initially due to the difficulty of the demo. The actual game is much, much easier though.

You'll miss a fantastic game if you decide not to buy it. One of the better horror-survivals out there. Bonechilling, nervwrecking.

I bought the game on the first day due to double reward points and originally not planning to buy it. It's an amazing game and isn't too difficult. You can get all the trophies, save one, on easy. agree

I played the game on normal the first time. I was just saying that all the trophies can be gotten on easy except for the one where you have to complete the game on impossible.

also how can you tell how much life you have??

You life meter is on the back of your suit. theres no number or percentage for it. It decreases based on the strength or number of attacks you get as well as environmental factors such as air…afterall, we mere mortals can't survive without it. ;)

If you decide to upgrade your suit you are better protected from attacks, making your health bar decrease slower.

Just buy it man, its awesome!!!happy

Yep, this game is a must buy. It's better than a lot of crap released at the same time that received more attention and so if you haven't ever played it then you're missing out.

Platinum is also good – not too challenging but still satisfying.

o yeah i see ur psnID. OOO nice trophies!! lol. 4 plats, nice.

even if i do get stuck theres some vids on youtube explaining stuf.

O yeah say if your running low on life, can you pause the game and add some life, or do you have to kill everything and then use it?

You press [] to use med packs as pausing doesn't take you to the inventory.
