Sorry about all these questions in here,but I have one more,and its an important one.

Upgrading your suit and weapons : Do you have to fill all the "empty" node spaces to get them fully upgraded?

If not,I've just wasted a ridiculous amount of nodes on nothing :(

my tip for the asteroids is to turn the sound off. i failed countless times then turned the sound off & did it first time :)

Yep you have to unlock it. To actually unlock you have to load a file that has already been completed or finish the game and then choose Impossible from the menu in new game.

Impossible isn't that hard you just have to be quick or be dead. Try the credit glitch and upgrade the plasma cutter and rig to make it a little easier. I have encountered a couple of hard bits but with persistence you can get through it.

Just started this tonight so might be back with some cries for help! Am doing my first run through on easy to get used to the game and am gonna just use the Plasma Cutter to get that one out the way before i attempt impossible. Any other trophies that i should try to get on this first run through?

Impossible mode doesnt seem that impossible really,but I guess I should be kinda used to the game after playing thru it 2 times the last week. The one that will kick my head in is still the asteriod thing on level 4,for that last ??? trophy…I hate it lol

I'll probably aim for platinum on this, but whenever I turn Dead Space on, I just don't enjoy playing it. I don't understand why it's considered so brilliant. The enemies are unoriginal and hardly varied, the combat is basic and boring and doesn't improve during the shabby boss battles and nothing really shines in the game. The dismemberment is quite good fun at first and graphically the game is decent. The only thing that makes me play is the brilliant atmosphere (and of course trophies) but that can't make up for all the bad points, I've only made it to the fifth chapter and am yet to get stuck, I just get too bored to continue.

It's frustrating because everybody else loves it and I just don't understand why. It's not a bad game, just not a very, very good one.

You just gotta keep at it bacon. I finally managed this one on easy on my 3rd try.

Started the game on medium and that was impossible. Just aim at the asteriods early(when they are far away).
