looks easy, just complete the game

It's no surprise to me, i have the game and it's incredibly difficult.

Any idea uf this is out in the UK, looked around and can't find it even looked on Paly and Amazon

The boss trophies are pretty linear but the rest are not. It takes an absolute age to upgrade a weapon to full power, in fact I'm half way through and still have zero of the weapons trophies.

The magic and miracles trophies are another ball game. Simply you have to make a choice on to whether to use a boss soul for a unique weapon upgrade, high level magic or a high level miracle. Therefore there's no way of getting all the trophies on one play through.

Simply I'm guessing at the minimum you'd have to play through the game 3 times to max out your magic and miracles. The problem is after completing the game you can start a new game with your current stats, but the difficultly of the enemies is increased substantaly. They call it 'New Game+'. Then after you complete that game (which, i've been told, even the weakest enemies can kill you with one hit) you open up 'New Game++'. Which is even harder!

In other words this game requires some serious dedication to plat. Its a good thing its bloody excellent. 25 hours in and I'm loving it.

Nope. It auto-saves at regular intervals and at certain points throughout the game. You can't even quit out using the xmb menu as the game won't save and you'll lose all your progress from the last auto-save. You have to quit out properly using the in-game menus.

Plus no matter where you save it'll always start you at the last archstone (checkpoint) you used. So you cant save just before a boss and keep reloading until you've beaten him. You have to do that entire section again and again until you beat the boss and open up the next archstone.

Because of the games non-linear nature though if you're finding one section difficult you can always move to a different section and try that one instead.

You guys buy it from play-asia?  Was totally tempted but I'm a bit baffled by the comment…

So is the game sub titled or do you play in japanese?

If you can find the Asian version it is entirely in English but with optional Chinese sub-titles and a Chinese manual. This is the one I have.

I've heard the Korean version is in English too but with Korean sub-titles, but don't take my word for that.

This game looks awesome! Looking forward to it, has preordred the US deluxe edition :)
