I had to wait for the next tourney to start but I got my Dirt 2 platinum yesterday. 
Is great game, see you on the meet on sunday, hopefully.

Yeah you do get automatically entered.
If you dont know you can check tournament info by going outside your RV to the news menu (left from where you pick your cars).
There it will tell you what this weeks challenge is and how you are doing, as well as telling you last weeks results and what next weeks challenge is.
I will be happy to help you get the 5 online wins if inviting friends to races count in pro tour races lol, not sure I can help with the beat 7 other drivers I am in the same rut as you there
I'll have a look but I don't think you can race against friends in the Pro Tour races, probably just the jam sessions. Don't quote me on that though… just assuming and we all know what that can make.

I think you have to finish the race. Mine popped up during yesterday's meet after finishing Shibuya. A "friend" of mine said you can hang out in the back of the pack where it's not as crazy for a few races. I wouldn't know, I've NEVER been at the back of the pack…

The trophy is all about not hitting anything, as digitalmanAZ says you can do it by hanging back for a few races and just driving steady. I f it still doesnt work then do a little 2player boosting.
2 players do a rally or trailblazer but make sure the impact is on (staggered starts), then just drive like a granny. Do it as many times as you need but I think it only takes up to 5 clean races to unlock.

Best way to do this is Last man standing and Domination. Just be lkast it still counts a finished complete race even though you got terminated and for Domination let the racers go by as you can regain in the top 3 by beating their times in each sector but do it carefully not to hit walls or go off road, and of course other cars but you will be behind anyway. When your icon is yellow it takes 5 clean races before turning Green.

Finally got the Online Win trophies, the only one I need now for the platinum is the Tourney trophy but I don't think there is a new tournament 'til about thursday which sucks.
Actually I suppose its quite good timing, I'll get that trophy on Thursday then trade the game in on Friday for Uncharted! Everyone's a winner, well I am anyway!

Welcome to TSA,
You have to play 1 race in each of the 8 categories online. For most people its the Gatecrasher event that they are missing.
The easiest way to get it is to create a jam session event, as you can choose which race types to do, so you can just go through them one at a time or, if you know which ones you are missing, just do those.

Got that trophy first attempt after I think 3 or 4 races driving around a track at 20mph. But it is very fussy mate you cant even hit a cone that some other driver has knocked into the middle of the road. Just stay back and avoid everything but mainly stay within the road and no short cuts.
EDIT: You have to set the impact rating on as well…you probably know this but just in case.

It's in the options when you set up a match. I also set damage to realistic as well to be certain.
