3 days of casual play and i have myself a platinum. no grinding, and quite an enjoyable experience.

I'd agree with that (even though I was only one trophy away from the platinum when my PS3 got the YLOD).

Anyone got any opinions on the game? Gameplay? Graphics? Enjoyment? Worth buying or renting?
Never really been interested in Harry Potter since I…well….grew up

It comes down to this: if you don't like Harry Potter, then you'll get little to no enjoyment out of the game, but if you do like Harry Potter, then the chances are you'll find something to like about it.
As a Harry Potter fan, I was actually pretty impressed with it because although in places the character animations and voice-overs are bad, Hogwarts itself looks really, really good and it's actually very fun to explore and search for all 150 crests.
But I'll repeat, if you don't like Harry Potter, then you won't like the game.

Well said Stef. I've been playing the Harry Potter games since the Philosopher's stone on PC so this one was a no brainer.
As far as platinums go, it is easy – I too got it within 3 days of buying it. But if you're not a fan of Harry Potter and you're just after an easy platinum then I suggest you don't bother – as it defies the entire point of gaming imo.

Hmmm it's a tough one, I've read all the books (which are brilliant) watched all the flims (which are bad) and even played the original Harry Potter game on the PC. But, I never really thought you could make a game/film from a book, it kind of takes away what you would imagine Hogwarts or Harry Potter to be like – other than LOTR
I'm actually talking myself out of getting the game aren't I?

Heard this is a very easy platinum, I want to rent this for trophies and for the actual gameplay.
I have great memories of the 1st Harry Potter on PS1 and I must've finished it around ten times, I thought it was just stunning.
I want to relive those memories on PS3, but I doubt it'll be as enjoyable as I'm older now (mind you, I still love the films).

I can't get the 'Master of Flying' trophy, any tips? I have four 5 star (the first 4 on the club noticeboard, Gryffindor Tryouts, Slytherin Match Practice, Gryffindor Practice, Hufflepuff Match Practice) but can't get any more! It's all I need for the platinum, as well! I just can't get all the stars in some of them, thanks to some weird camera angle changes and bumps at the wrong time!
