Man, this game is fun!
I've got completed the story on normal after 12 hours of gameplay, and reached 52% trophy-wise percent.
I'll pick up the remaining 18 or so trophies, such as the 49 faction missions and other ones, before starting again on hardcore difficulty. The trophies are easy to get, but time consuming. I'd say for the plat at least 20 hours, probably nearer 25 hours though realistically. If anyone needs help with one, ask. I'll have probably done it :D !

Yup this game has everything that GTA IV was lacking, great fun and ingenuity. I am loving playing this game and don't see me completing it any time soon. Hell, I have got around 20 hours in and am still only at 11% game completion (too much collecting lol)…it is massive and awesome.

hehe, that is pretty bad going mate! 20hours!
I think i'm 60% trophies now, but that'll shoot up, when i finish the 7 remaining faction missions, to get the gold 49 trophy.
Completion, i'm at 33.30%..sigh.. getting to 75% will be very hard work (time consuming)

If you like to explore a huge world and blow up everything in your path then this is the must have game. The missions are very repetitive but who cares, you don't need them to unlock new areas so you can just go around and cause mayhem all over the place. It's what Mercenaries 2 and Far Cry 2 should have been. A fun and beautiful open world where anything goes.

I have completed 48 of the faction challenges but the last one (49 for a gold trophy) is proving to be rather difficult to complete. The challenge is to disarm 4 bombs within a time limit and also fend off enemys at each location of said bomb…….FS the time given is just jokeworthy and Piss taking… I am struggling with this one.

Yeah that Missile mission took me a few tries, there's a way in which you can knock him off the missile so you're given a bit more time (headshot or a build up of inflicted damage, not too sure).
The last few trophies are going to be a bit time consuming, 75% and finding all the vehicles.

I am loving this game.
I have the 75% complete, 104 vehicles, 50 challenges, fly under the bridges and wrecking ball trophies left to get and then it will be time to bump it up to hardcore and try and complete it on that. I really would like to platinum this game but the vanderbildt leisureliner may be a pain in the arse to find (its the only vehicle I need now) as apparently there is only one and it is constantly driving round the map, so it is probably going to be down to random chance,

Got the 49 missions completed eventually and now just need to tie up a few loose ends before endeavering into the abyss of hardcore difficulty….god bless all who sail there.

I am at around 60% game completion now, have 6 bridges to fly under, 9 vehicles to find, wrecking ball trophy which will be easy with a car attached to a helicopter with the grapple and then the hardcore difficulty to complete….great fun.

I'm having trouble with the wrecking ball trophy. For some reason the deaths usually count as normal kills or as road kills when I hit them with a car attached to the helicopter. I must have killed over 20 soldiers like that but my wrecking ball kills stand at 4.

You can get the 104 vehicles trophy without the Vanderbilt LeisureLiner – despite not being on the vehicle list on the stats tab, the Chevalier icecream truck that was added as DLC on Thursday counts towards the total of unique vehicles driven, so can be used as a substitute for the LeisureLiner.

Yeah I already did that thanks. From what I can gather there is a problem with the leisureliner spawning as it seems that no-one on PS3 or 360 has found it yet. The only people who have found it are using a the PC version with a mod that allows them to spawn any vehicle from the black market. There is a thread on the Eidos forums and the devs are looking into it at the moment.
They have confirmed that the LL should spawn in snowy or desert areas but that it has no fixed spawn point (that it willl only spawn in moving traffic not parked up somewhere).
I dont need it for the trophy anymore but I still would like to find the damn thing.
Anyways I just need the Bridge Limbo and Wrecking ball trophies now and then its time for some hardcore action.

Just the wrecking ball and 75% completion to get plus complete on hardcore difficulty, but I think I'll start the hardcore difficulty next because it takes hours to get 1% on the completion trophy. Found it easier with a car attached to the chevalier classic with wrecking ball than using a heli……that car can take some serious damage and handles nicely, just a few wrecking balls to go. I'm at 65% completion so the next 10% will take at least a week so i think i'll give the hardcore difficulty a go as you can have several gamesaves.

Anyone with the Limited Edition of the game only needs to find 100 vehicles now with the 2 DLC cars available with the Hovercraft and Chevalier classic that come with the LE, although I now have 105 unique vehicles….would still love to find that luxury Bus LeisureLiner scarlett pimpernel lol.
The new DLC vehicles are bloody awesome by the way.

the myth is wrong 
i was jus playing and found not just one but two leisure liner buses driving together!!!
im not sure if its a spawn point or not (apparently they dont have a spawn point, but since i found two im not sure what to believe now) but they wer both in a base at X: 19887 Y: 15925
not a joke, there are actually more than one leasure liner buses!
