Good post mate and worthy of TSA points, I hope the game plays more like PS2 Riding spirits (Gran turismo on bikes), than the previous dissapointments, anyways I will need to try a demo first.

Has anyone else bought this yet? picked it up today, but some of the trophies are refusing to unlock! the 'Win at Salt Lake with Biaggi one is refusing to work – ive won 3 races there with him now on diffent difficulties and race lengths, nothing! i tried it on professional so i could also unlock the 'win from last place' and 'win by less than a second' – both of which i fulfilled – except those trophies didnt unlock either! restarted the game and then they appeared on screen, but even thats not working for the biaggi one! SO annoying!

Edit: ok, so now its actually not given me the win from last place one, even though it popped up on screen :-( meh!

In the games /Blackbean's/Milestone's defence, its only a trophy issue, not a problem with the gameplay, so unless the only reason you're playing the game is for the trophies then I wouldn't discount it.

Also, I spoke to Blackbean today who have confirmed that the issue is NOT linked to save files, but there is an issue with the trophies not unlocking at the right time – if you log out and log back in again and "wait a few minutes" they should all unlock fine. They have also said there may be a patch to rectify this.

To be honest I was very impressed with their customer service and general attitude over this- when Madden 09 came out with its lovely 'freezing franchise' issues their handling of the situation, as well as the responses they gave people who paid good money for their product was laughable. Big name companies like EA should perhaps take a leaf out of Blackbean's books!

Personally i think SBK09 is a great game, slight trophy issue or otherwise.

Really great to play the game when the loading, accessing and saving has finished and then the process of playing starts again. Seriously this is the worst I have endured from any game ever…load, access, save …over and over, it really has ruined a decent game and I think I cant bear any more especially as some trophies that I have earned are not showing up eg. ten superpoles in a championship..fuck you I got 13 and no trophy. Had a great sesh earlier though, to help a dude at TSA with the online stuff and he got the long awaited platinum…I got the online trophies mysef also but plat is a pipe dream, the game is too much hard work….load,save,load,save…access,load etc. fucking ridiculous.
