I didn't think this game would contain trophies, but now that I know they do this is even more tempting cos I was thinking about getting it. Gotta love a bit of retro gaming.

No idea mate. Could certainly be a possibilty but I haven't heard anything about a PSN release.

just to say I bought this game, and for all you trophy whores out there this is a must.  They are so easy to get.  Most of them only require you to play the first couple of levels in a game, and the ones like Sonic Spinball – lots of zeroes – is one of the easiest gold's I have ever got (apart from the warhawk server one happy )

thanks for the link to the guide. I now need to see why my 'play all mega drive games' didn't unlock

I think you have to play them in one go…like, go down the list and play them in one session.

but I must say some of the trophies seem difficult. My sister (Columns expert) can't even get the columns trophy :(

Got the Platinum in just under a day. I didn't find any particularly hard, more frustrating. The save-anywhere-anytime removes most of the difficulty, making the harder trophies just more time-consuming. Although, I can see people getting stuck with Dr R's MBM and Columns. More skill/luck based than the rest.

Nope,

There was talk of some older Sega games being rated by ERSB/PEGI/US equivelent, and then rumours that some could appear individually on the PSN/XBLA

I hope so, because some of the will be ideal on your XMB, for a quick 5 minute power up and play, and turn off again.

But more than that I hope they've been remade and include online play. Looking forward to the chance of playing Co-op Streets of Rage

Lol The Sonic 3 Gold trophy (get 100 rings with Tails anywhere on Angel Island) seems like one of the EASIEST gold trophies I have EVER seen, geez Sonic 3 was always easy and there are tonnes of rings in Angel Island if you know where to look anyway

I may have trouble with Spinball trophy as I was never that good at it :(  But MBM should be a doddle as I am sure the passwords still work so you would only need to enter pw for final level then beat it to beat the game hehe

Yep passwords still work.  Might have a go just now actually, feeling burned out on KZ2.

lol in that case, if you can figure out which buttons are mapped on PS3 pad to what buttons were used on MD Pad, then Sonic 1 Debug Mode would work wonders for getting a chaos emerald with fear of hitting the exit circles, and the music selection in Shinobi 3 to make you invincible would make completing first stage without death a doddle, not that it is hard anyways

Tell us if it gets you the trophy…and also tell us the password if it does.

I don't have high hopes for it though, because surely it would say in the guide just to do that.

EDIT: Just found this. Codes to the levels. Is it scenario mode or puzzle mode that gets the trophy?

to complete the game iirc would be scenario (eg: story mode if you will) where as puzzle requires different completion requirements

Yeah, it's definitely the easiest platinum I've gotten.  The columns & Dr. Robotink's MBM were hell to get but overall still easy.  As far as the play all the games.  You definitely have to do it in one sitting, and you don't actually have to play the game.  You can literally quit out right after you see the sega logo.  Worked like a charm for me.  Great set of games though, I've had a blast playing them.
