Woohoo I have just this minute got the Legendary Champion trophy, so I also get free Shadoloo T-Shirt for use in PS Home as well.
Yes this trophy is hard, but there is a way to do it:
1:Choose Arcade, set Diff to Hardest, 1 round, 60 seconds (this is so you can be hit enough to build up Revenge Meter)
2: Choose Zangief
3:Spam Double Lariat (LP+MP+HP)
4:Work through it, spamming move to get a perfects and make sure you get Ultra combo finishes when poss
Also make sure you have unlocked and beaten Arcade with Akuma before attempting this
On 1 round matches you need 2 perfects and 3 ultra combos finishes no continues to reach Gouken after Nobhead (I mean Seth), so it may take a couple of attempts to get the right set of opponents, incidentally the set of matches I actually got 2 perfects on were Ryu and Ken, I ultra combo'd Fei Long, C.Viper and Nobhead (I mean Seth) lol

Firstly if you have the book, it explains them lol
Secondly I will give you an example:
Ryu: Ultra Combo (Have a yellow Revenge Meter) D,DF,Fx2 + PPP (all 3 punches together – or map them to L2)
Ryu: Super Combo (Blue Super Combo must be full) D,DF,Fx2 + P (any punch it don't matter)
Next D,DF,F basically means a fluid motion from Down to Forward twice in succession
Lastly a Focus Attack is achieved by pressing MP(typically Triangle) and MK(typically Circle) together, it has three levels depending on the length of time you hold the buttons down.
Level 1: Just a quick press of both buttons
Level 2: Hold both buttons for about 1-1.5 seconds
Level 3: Hold both buttons until the move executes automatically
Quick tip if you need to get up close to opponent after a successful Focus Attack, tap forward twice whilst the move is charging or executing

I know you've already talked about this, but i'm still not entirely sure how to get this trophy, as I've already unlocked Gouken (on easiest). Will he still show up on hardest by doing the qualifiers? And isn't it only 1 perfect, or is that only on easiest? Thanks!

Yes he still shows up on hardest diff, as the qualifiers give you the right to fight him after seth not unlock him (beating him unlocks him). Easiest way is set to 30 secs 1 round fights, use zangief and his 3K (Quick Double Lariat), this is easiest way to get the perfects early on as you will need 3 I think, then just practice the ultra combos

I was wondering how you pull off special moves that say 'charge' on them eg. Akuma.
I haven't played this in ages cause i'm so damn bad at it but any help would be appreciated.

I can tell that I´m good at mortal kombat and fighting games, but this is just out of my league!!
I dont even manage to beat arcade with medium on all characters, and there is a trophy for beating the arcade on hardest 
Might just give up for this game
