I hated everything about the demo. I cant think of anything I like about it, but this is only my view.

I will never buy this game, unless it was £1ish. Bad graphics, bad gameplay, bad controls(I know you can change them), bad bad bad!

Mate its a shame you feel that way, the original 'Escape From Butcher Bay' was truely excellent because of its atmosphere and simple-ish controls. Granted, the demo of Dark Athena looked and felt much the same (so the graphics seem a bit dated now and the heavy controls catch newcomers off because they haven't played the boxing/fighting sections in Butcher Bay), but you should maybe get a cheap copy of the original for the PC or XBox and see how you like that before drawing a line through Dark Athena, you might be surprised.

i prefer to have tonnes of ammo lying everywhere, lol and blast everything I see. like infamous!

i hate splinter cell type games.

I like racing, shooting, fighting, sports, and some strategy and roaming. ive probably forgotten some but o well.

I HATE THE DEMO!

There are some very, and i mean very time consuming multiplayer trophies in this game.

but it's a very good game

The trophies generally look easy, but I hear some of them take ages, so the Platinum may be a time-consuming task.

I found the demo average, but I hear from others that it is abismal. It's around £15 on Play.com at the moment, but it's still not worth buying for me, as I'd be spending £15 on trophies to be honest. Laugh

I got his a while ago and it is a good game bearing in mind you actualy get 2 games – Butcher Bay and Escape from Athena. It is not a game I could get hooked on, like KZ2,  but it is one I keep going back to to progress a bit further.

I have only just begun the second game having completed Butcher Bay and whislt the graphics in this one a re a bit better the game itself feels similar to the first.

A good "fallback" game. hodgi

I gotta say that Chronicles of Riddick is my favourite FPS I've ever played, it's such an immersive experience! And the hand to hand combat in the game is something I've never encountered in a FPS before.

However the online trophies are certainly a pain to acquire… being in NZ there aren't a lot of folks to play online with, and generally when you do manage to get a game it could be against someone WAY more skilled than yourself…

Solo campaign = AWESOME

Multiplayer = a long, long, long time…
