Finally some credit for all the tasks I made my Sims on Sims 3 on PC and I really would like to do it all again for this :)
A lil bit about me: I bought Sims 2 a few months after release and it was my very first Sims game. I installed all 4 disks! Then I started the game up, a slow start but I've come to realise that's very common with Sims games as they load quite slowly. Anyhoo, I start the game and create my self and put my in a nice little house of my own.
What's this though? My character seems to be talking in a very odd language, my guess? Spanish. That's right, I was convinced that the game had installed in Spanish. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the game another 2 times and the same happened each time. I was quite annoyed that I couldn't play it in English and so I took the game back to the retailer and asked for a different copy. They asked what reasons I had to request a new copy and so I told them the story.
A TAD bit embarressed when I was told that the language was SIMLISH and it was never supposed to be real words being spoken. 
Fourth install, I got to play Sims 2 and had a blast
