True, and some impressions I've read indicate that it's quite a generic shooter

It will suck online as new games do with connection problems which is a shame because the offline looks pretty good….dev's please stop spoonfeeding us with impossible online trophies, do the trophies all offline then after testing and (if all goes well…me thinks not) add a patch to put in the online trophies. FF's not rocket science.

Hopefully this game will follow suit with RtCW's multiplayer as they are advertiseing it will. I think they saw the amount of players that RtCW had and they decided that it would be a good idea to have a lot of multiplayer trophies. Some of them look simple but are probably tough to do i.e. Boot Camp, Med School, and Basic Training. They sound simple, but are most likely going to be really hard to do in a multiplayer game.
Still pre-ordered though, with the day one multiplayer advantage, the $2000 from pre-ordering it and the extra $1000 from playing Wolfenstein 3D it hopefully won't be that hard to do if I catch everyone by surprise with these new weapons.

I bought Wolfenstein as well, in hope that the online trophies was (not easy) but do-able. but I guess I was wrong, another game with crappy online multiplayer trophies, I mean what did the game developer think? it's not like it's gonna be equal to KZ2 or gta4 multiplayer we all know that. And so did the game developers, but still they add grinding trophies which are near impossible to achieve unless you've got a partner to boost you. srsly, get rid of the online trophies, and only focus on single player trophies from now on.

I definetly agree. Online trophies are frustrating because when the community dies down you can't really get most of them, so you have a time limit on getting platinum. Whereas if all the trophies are single-player you can go for the platty whenever you can be bothered.

that's exactly my point, with single player trophies (batman arkham asylum etc) you can platinum whenever you want to, and not feel rushed or pushed because you know that some day the online community will die and no one plays anymore. hence Chronicles of Riddick/Unreal Tournament 3… completely stupid.

… I forgot to add: Epicgames? I think, added the trophy patch for Unreal Tournament long before it was released and by that time, the online community was already kind of dead pretty much. like hello? lol what were they thinking.

I wanna be the one bloke here thats gonna stick up for this game, I've played through the single player campaign and have to say i absolutely loved it, as a fan of RTCW this hits the spot for me. The gunplay is excellent, every gun feels meaty and powerful and very satisfying to use, and the couple of hours or so that I have spent playing multiplayer have been fun.
I am biased being a huge fan of everything wolfenstein, but this game is nowhere near as bad as people would like to make out, and i found it thoroughly enjoyable

we'll see about that when youve spent over 100 hours just trying to reach 200,000 lol 680,000 to reach max level (if im not wrong) and you dont get more than a couple of 1000s per match depending on your skills. I dont mind grinding at all but a shitty multiplayer like WS and community probably dead before you get all online trophies is something i would never ever start on.

I'm on level 21 in online so it is doable to get all online trophies before the community goes out, but I don't think that will happen by the way there are still peeps playing UT3
I'm doing wolfenstien every night for an hour or 2 online to get to level 50 trophy and the rest is campaign 'till platinum

that's like saying the chronicles of riddick is do-able but it isnt unless you boost it with a friend. 1000 wins and 10,000 kills? pfft. like I stated earlier I don't mind grinding (I have all gta4 online trophies) which is a good example of grinding. and still got a strong community.
