For the silver trophy you have to complete each level individually whereas for the gold you have to do all 8 stages of each course in a row, with a time limit of 18 minutes (or something) for each course. Basically it means you have to do each level twice, once with a time limit and no fails.

There are 8 stages per course (e.g. course C consists of the stages C1 to C8). You can choose a complete course via the black letters on the left side of the level selection screen. All 8 stages will then start consecutively and I think the time limit is 25 minutes in total.
echochrome is a masterpiece, I just love it

Damn 8 courses!! Someone managed to get this trophy?? I ran out of time 3 times in a row in the last level of the F course. I was so pissed off that I never tried it again. 
Any tips for the last 2 courses? I haven't found anything on the net. No Youtube video, no FAQ…

I'm impressed you guys can actually play this, I think the part of my cerebellum that deals with freaky, disorientating puzzles is missing.

Hmm… my best tip is to play each single stage several times until you find a good (and fast) way, and memorize it. You have even less time for the stages during a course and can't afford to search for the way then. I used dropping through holes or covering obstacles with pillars quite a lot in those stages. Sometimes it's also useful to fall through a hole or jump and turn the level during the flight, so you land on another part. I'm surprised that there are no YouTube videos for echochrome!

Ha. I tried playing one time when I was "bed-ridden" with man-flu. Needless to say, my head nearly exploded…

Thanks for the help guys, just got the game today – how do you "upload levels" for the upload 5 levels trophy? I have played over five levels, so I was surprised when it wasn't just loading a regular level…?

Upload, as in you have to upload some levels. Go to the bottom option on the main menu and start making some levels.
Note: I haven't got this one yet so I can't be positive that that's what you have to do. But I'm pretty sure that's right.

Strange thing… I've passed all levels in A through D, but haven't gotten the trophy for it? I duno why. Any ideas? Thanks!

Did you have the game before the trophy patch came out? I found that i hard to start a new game save to get any trophies – HTH

Ah I was going to ask the same thing. Thing is I completed courses A – D in the hope that I'd get the Half the Journey trophy, but no such luck, I have got some of the other trohpies, but can't be sure which stages I did pre-patch. Hopefully if I just do them all again I'll get it!
