I fully agree, it was the first I bought when I got my PS3 and throughly enjoyed it.

The only bad thing about this game is the bastard Late Boomer trophy. Oh, and the Brothers In Arms trophy as I only have one controller.

Yeah same it was first game i ever bought from psn when it was released along with time attack mode for motor storm they were the first things released for us in Aus. The only trophies i have left are late bomber and the 10x multipler haven't gotten around to finishing them heres a link for the late bomber hope it helps :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..-18AUcB0nA late bomber is the hardest by far agreeagreeagree

also when you get a second controler don't attack anything just sit both ships next to each other for 3 mins you will only need to dodge 1-2 big rocks easy :)

Really, that works? Didn't try to get the 'Brothers in Arms' trophy yet, but that sounds feasible laugh Thanks.

Any good tips for the 'Token Hoarder' trophy (15 tokens with one boost)? Somehow I never managed to get that one.

I think i got that one on the second last level when the bonus rock appeared i used a bomb and let the point tokens follow me for a bit adding as many as possible to the group finaly i boosted through them took a few goes to get it. it was either the bonus rock on either the second or last level one of them will have a heap more point tokens then the other lvls i think it is on the second last :) sorry i can't give more detailed instructions it was ages ago that i did these :(

the best way to get the 'Token Hoarder' trophy, almost guarunteed to get it first time, is to wait for one of the bonus rocks to appear, then dont shoot it, dont bomb it or anything else, just boost straight through the middle of it, you'll gather the tokens on the way, and hey presto, one trophy coming up. hope this helps you out, dont try to get tokens grouped together, just boost through a bonus rock.agree

I've just revisited this old chestnut and the only trophy I can't seem to get is the 10x Multiplier.  I've reached 9x on several occasions, but always end up dying before it changes to 10x.

Does anybody know what triggers the increases for the multiplier?  I've noticed it increases quicker on later levels, so say I die on the third planet, I can get the multiplier up to around 6x or 7x again within a couple of cleared phases, so I'm guessing it's tied into the difficulty level somehow.

You just have to keep scoring points to increase the multiplier. It goes up faster on the later levels because there's more on screen to destroy and greater scoring opportunities.

The video above for the Late Boomer trophy isn't the only way you can beat that challenge. He says you need to destroy two bomb ships at once, but you don't have to. The way I did it is by luring the mines towards the bomb ship and using those to destroy it without you having to use a bomb yourself. Do this twice, then blow up the 3rd ship yourself and you'll have the trophy.

I got the 10x multiplier after getting through to the final planet Segomo on the same life. It does tend to clock up multipliers faster if you start at a later level but I dont think that there would be enough time to get it to 10x by the end of the game, it has to be done from the start and played through to the final planet…..yes very frustrating at times with getting 9x and seeming to last forever.

OK, it looks like I'm on the right track then, as that's what I've been attempting to do, but I can't seem to make it to the last planet without dying at least once!!  More practice required, me thinks…    Wink

I finally got that damn 10x Multiplier trophy last night which was the last one that I needed (excluding the DLC).  It took me quite a few attempts (I lost count of the number of times that I got to 9x and died!!)

I got a bit twitchy once I'd got to 9x yet again, and then once the trophy popped up, I just relaxed and sailed through the rest of the game until it ended after beating the final planet (and obliterating my previous high score!!!)  Laugh

I haven't got the additional DLC yet.  Hopefully it will be reduced this Thursday at the same time as the full game is, and if that's the case, then I'll definitely be snapping it up then!!!
