I haven't got mine yet :/

I'm sure if you make a topic in the TSA Network section about setting up a session more people will see it and be willing to help :)

Has anyone got the 'Beat Zico' Trophy? I've been trying for the last 2 days and the closest I've got is 31.48. I suck at pitching and barrel rolling but I know I need to do them to get my time quicker. I cannot physically go quicker using my current route.

Any tips? Greatly appreciated plzzzzz agree

To 'Beat Zico', its all about the Barrel Rolls. After the inital corner there is a section of the track that dips down, before inclining back up – hit your boost here (as it inclines back up) and barrel roll as you fly through the air – if you go far enough, you should catch some air off the next turn to do another barrel roll.

Then, when the track splits, you have to perform a barrel roll onto the top section – its a toughie, so I recommend practicing it a fair bit, then practice more. Before the end of the split, barrel roll off to the left to hit the boost pad – tis a slightly quicker route to the end.

General practice applies too, so boosting just before the start of your lap so you've essentially boosted the start, but still have a boost from crossing the starting line.

The above is probably better shown in a YouTube video, I recommend watching a few and practicing what they're doing. I didn't pitch at all and was able to beat the time.

I hope that helps. Otherwise, I recommend heading over to the Wipeout HD section of the PS3trophies.co.uk Forum – lots of gamers in one place, and someone will be willing to help.

Am I the only one who managed to beat Zico after, literallly an hour, maybe hour and a half of trying, and watching one vid to see what angle to get at the 3rd barrell roll, and wasnt in deep concerntration, I had my friend over and was in light conversation with him you see.

Not bragging or anythingangel

I did this today, took me a bit longer. Maybe about 2 and half hours altogether. I did end up with the 13th fastest time in the world rankings though happy

I guess so, unless they were reset or something.

Unfortunately, I think the zone mode trophies are gonna cause me a lot more trouble.

Zone mode isnt too hard, it took quite abit of 'training' to get. but its certainly possible, and once you've reached 75, the airbraker one is a synch, I literally got it the first time I tried to get it.  Anulpha Pass is the easiest, although I chose to go for Moa Therma, and was at one point 5th in the world, I think im knocked down to 8th now.

Only 2 more trophies and im platinumed!

I have given up on Wipeout trophies, I haven't played it for some time but I managed 49% and doubt I will get anymore. Although I do need the Bling Brigade trophy but no bugger seems to want to get it with me lost

Woo! I have now got that elusive platinum!

One tip i'll give you that I stumbled across, the Arcade Perfect trophy is actually really easy, if you put it onto split screen, you'll win each race by 10-15 seconds, don't ask me how, cos I dont know, maybe its glitched or something. And I dont know if its relevanmt, but I used controller 2.

Woah cheers mate.. great tip..

It must be a glitch lol (did it work after the latest patch? or did you do it prior to installing the patch – like me)

As I was doing it, I was thinking that I really should be using controller 1 (instead of being player 2 with controller 2); but it worked (being player 2) regardless! Any other tip would be welcomed hehe.. Seriously lost lol.

But yeh, well done getting the WipEout HD platinum.. you must be hardcore mate hehe.
