Ooh… Additionally (whilst i think of it), challenges – I need someone to assist with the challenges.
I have sent a few recently (when i completed the singleplayer), but i think the issue is that people are generally done with the sp now & are just concentrating on the mp (on tuesdays &/or sundays) & so the challenges section is going somewhat untouched. I don't know if this is actually the case of course, but i would assume so.
Apparently to 'dominate' someone, you need a +10 against one particular person & whilst i am happy to try & get this legitimately (as in, i am not asking anyone to lose to me on purpose), i do need someone to at least try my challenges &/or send me some.
Currently, my tally has only gone as far as -1 in most cases (i may have an odd -2 somewhere!), so i think i may need to bump that up a little bit!
Any volunteers?

But yeah, i am good with that – As i mentioned, i am happy to go the legit route (so you'll probably beat me anyway), but am just in need of a person or people to participate.

I was thinking i will do a couple of random events after the meet each Tuesday & it should soon start to rise quite steadily. Bloody hell, i am at the innuendo now!

I'm quite happy to send you easy challenges to beat if you like as I already have the trophy … I used my US account to create easy challenges for myself.

I don't have a US account, but i did have a similar thought in that i could possibly get the Wife to send me challenges (or at least i send challenges from her account) – However, we tried the same thing with Burnout Crash & the game crashed (pun not intended!) every time it got to the 2nd or 3rd go around.
As a result, she got a very easy trophy (as it crashed on me a couple of times handing her the win) & i have never managed to even get past the 2nd round to get mine.
Is it something that they added to stop trophy boosters? Probably not, its probably just a glitchy piece of crap, but i tend to be a bit wary about that sort of thing these days.

As I said though, I'm willing to send you easy challenges to beat if you want, and you can send challenges to captain … saves having to do more challenges than necessary as you'd need to go from -10 to +10 if you did it between yourselves.

Burnout Crash is a good little game (glitches/niggles aside), but the emphasis is really on the 'little' there as there isn't a great deal of content.
As for the challenges, you do indeed have a point sir. Once captain had beaten me 10x (of which i have no doubt that would happen), that would then require me to win 20x, as you first have to work off the 10 deficit before you can even start on what they call 'dominating'.
I don't necessarily mind this of course as i do love the game, but it would be much less of a pain in the ass (for captain also) if you wanted to get involved as you mentioned above.
The offer is appreciated… Nay, welcomed.

Yeah, I bought Burnout Crash when it came out, however I think I bought a few other things at the same time (as is my usual … oooh shiny thing) and I just haven't got back to it … along with plenty of other games.
No problem, I shall send some challenges your way in the next few days.

Ah, marvellous – As you are probably aware, space on the friend list is a precious commodity & so if you could check they are online when we play later & do the honours with invites, that would be great.
If not online for whatever reason though (as has happened with various other people in various other meets), we can just get Tom in.

It's not over subscribed anymore, for some reason Del had his name down for it, but he doesn't have Showdown anymore, so he's taken it off again (he doesn't even know how it got on there in the first place). I too have PoolieMike on my friends list so I can do the invite thing if for some reason captain isn't available.

Lol – Fair enough! I'd simply assumed that he had kept it after getting the platinum & wanted to brutally t-bag a few people!
Hmmm, strange goings on in the meets section eh? *cue twighlight zone music*
But yeah, that's fine & dandly then. If i get a moment, i'll have a review of the friends list, as there must be a few that i have never played anything with (or at least not for a while). Doubt i'll get a chance before the meet though, so if someone would be so kind as to invite him to chat/game, that would be most appreciated.

I'll try & post in here whenever i do one for you, but the aim is to try & send you at least one after each meet of a Tuesday (as it's easier to do when it's already in the PS3!).

Ok, so i actually sent you about 3. 
If you beat them (which should be a breeze, as i just went for a sunday drive for all of them!) & then return the challenges, i'll fail them & then that'll be the 3 that i sent you won (+3) & then those same challenges sent back to me will net you another 3 when i fail them (+6).
I think that should then be you at about +7 or so against me, so another 3 & you'll be done.
& many thanks to R1M who helped me get mine last night. That quitting out thing will be most helpful for saving time.

McProley bought me DiRT Showdown for Christmas, and we have a little burn on it last night – great fun, and I guess I should get used to getting frustrated (going from 1st to 5th on the last corner), given the nature of the game! 
Are the meets still pretty busy and are they likely to continue, as I'd be interested in participating in future if they are?
