Oh additonally, i am not sure if i'lll be around tonight – Depends on what time i get home & whether i can set the DVD recorder or not, as it's Britains Got Talent semis week & i need to keep up with what's going on (mock me all you wish, but i love me some variety performances)!

I will be there if i can get home in time & get the recorder set though.

Btw guys, is any DLC essential for this evening's Meet? I have some.

Thanks for the games yesterday – Infected is a lot of fun!! I suck at the Flag game though, oh, and the rallying. Some of you guys are pretty damn good! Perhaps I need to practice and play some of the single player to improve – I find the car handling isn't as good as in the first Dirt, but that's just me. Does a steering wheel give any advantages or make it easier?

You and me both mate – I think Transporter (the flag game) is the only online mode i have not won ever. Everything else i have managed to scrape through with noobs & i have had a few random trophies unlock during the meets, but transporter is such a clusterf*ck (albeit a fun one though) that it's pretty much pot luck on which way you are facing when you come out of a tussle as to whether you are likely to score a capture.

Plus i find that whatever end i am at, the flag appears at the other. So that's something to bear in mind!

Rallying i will never beat these guys at as they are just too good, but i do supply some tension at the end of the race when they are all spectating… "Will he finish?? Will he finish?? Oh no, he crashed."

Yeah, the Transporter game mode is hard, it feels like when you're on one of those playground roundabouts and you stick you head back, since I was constantly turning in circles trying to spot where the flag was going to appear. And when it did, someone had already grabbed it. I did hit people sometimes but the flag never tranfered, so I don't know if you have to hit them at a certain speed?! Our Cat-and-Mouse win was fun

When I play online I'll try for the Steer Hunter and Flag Stealer trophies, if I can get them by the time I get to level 35, I should be able to obtain the Platinum. Either way it will be fun trying!

I thank you twice! Once for the congrats & once for helping me get motivated to get the Portal 2 plat. I thought it might make a nice 50th after i got done with the last co-op trophies with you, so i got to work on all the singleplayer stuff i missed when i got back from watching the Avengers!

To be truthful although I enjoyed the game the first time through & found it hilarious, it did make me feel a little dim at times – However, playing through co-op & revisiting parts of the singleplayer to get the trophies changed my opinion (well, maybe not changed , but boosted  at least) & i now think it is a brilliant game.

As for hitting people in transporter, i have to say i don't know – I have had occasions where i have just brushed someone & picked it up & there were other occasions (a couple last night as it goes) where not even hitting someone enough to spin them out was good enough! Perhaps it has to register as a 'clean' hit or something? Pass.
