Spooners posting time scared me, it says 8.14pm, I thought I missed the start of the meet! Why is it 1 hour ahead? (Im assuming)
Anyway looking forward to the meet tonight, havent played in yonks so I should get practicing before it starts.

Sorry to Spooner, Yogh and Mukarkar. I must not have enough bandwidth or something…. I dunno…
Anyway, had some good games, but they were all sort of ruined by that Raiden guy. wtf was he on? "I've got the idol! I've got the idol!" what on earth? How did he gate crash the game anyway?
Aside from that, some good games. I don't think I ever lost, but they were all a lot closer than they looked at the end.
So, same time same place next week? and I'll have to see about my connection. Maybe if I don't use a headset that might help things?

Was a good meet, lotsa fun, I always prefer proper online play though so I found it better when there was only 5 of us.. But my God I need a proper headset my one sucks! Bring on christmas day..
Will be joining this whenever I'm free, Uncharted 2 ROCKS!

@Teflon, If people still can't connect to the meet next time, we could try changing hosts? You can still invite people to the game when your not the host.
That Raiden guy probably joined the party through one of his friends thats from tsa. Yeah he was a bit crazy.
Not having a headset on will not fix your connection to be honest

@lewis, if you want, someone could get a 5 person meet going on too? Or just keep playing once others have left for the night.
@lfc-gaz, righto. Next week I'll try be the host again, but if we can't squeeze the last few people in we'll try switching, see if it works.. I did notice that when we joined the main MP, the 10th person was getting dropped from the other team in the 3 or 4 games that we had. So it probably was down to me.
Not having a headset on would surely mean I've got a little bit more up bandwidth free?
Anyway, we'll see.. I put up next week's meet, same time same place.

Unfortunately I couldn't make last nights meet due to a prior engagement, but it's good to see it looks like becoming a regular get together so I've signed up for next week's meet.
I haven't played UC2 for a while and I keep meaning to go back to finish off the single player mode sometime, so next week's meet should give me the incentive to do so as I'm sure I'll definitely need to get some practice in!!!

It's a pity that we couldn't all play together yesterday. But we managed to form a second party and had some great games. Somehow our opponents were only teams of people with the highest ranks (those with the roman numbers)  Surprisingly, we lost those. But then we also had some really fun co-op games 
Unfortunately I won't have time next Thursday, but if the meet is on any other weekday (except for Monday, there's the weekly Killzone2 boot game), I'll be there

Yup, it's lucky I'd set up that chat room, aint it? I'll make sure I do the same each meet, just in case.. 
After next Thursday, it's going to be on Tuesdays for a couple of weeks cos you've got Christmas and New Years Eve on Thursdays, and I imagine people might have plans for both of those.

I'd normally offer to take over the reins, but I'm currently in the process of switching broadband providers, and my current ISP (Tiscali) isn't particularly reliable or stable at the moment, so it's probably best if I didn't host!!!

Themeet started off as a disaster last night, 2 people kept having connections problems. When we did manage to start half hour later we had 4 of us to take on the world online. What a surprise we had coming, a team of 3 low ranks and 1 38 rank (and 1 randomer) against mostly stupidly high ranks who play it 24/7. We did surprising well in some of them
Also i've created a co-op meet for this sunday 20th at 8pm. I've only ever tried it once with Carlos and we failed So sign up on the meet section if your interested (when its been approved) As I said on the meet, mics are a must!

I've just signed up for the meet. It'll be good to play some 'proper' co-op with some fellow TSA'ers, as when I've tried co-op in the past, half the time I end up with people acting like total dicks lobbing grenades at you or just using the pump taunt all the time!!!

But the pump taunt is hilarious!!!
Fair enough, it's best not to do it when you're getting shot at, but at the end of a section in the story co-op, when you've got nothing else to do but wait for the last straggler, doing the taunts a lot is damned funny.
Another thing that was hilarious was when me, my mate and some random were playing on the Monastery story level. You know the big tower you have to scale and then descend on the inside. For some reason we just couldn't do it. It took me a couple goes, but my friend and the random were just bodies dropping from the sky. With headsets on, we were just creasing up for about four or five minutes…

Once you get familiar with the maps and the wave of baddies it's not to bad . Teamwork is essential. I've found that Warzone is the easiest map and the last part of The Monastery really hard. Watchout for the baddies with grenade launchers, laser site guns and those annoying guys who sneak up behind and strangle you resulting in your team mates having to save your bacon. Headsets are a must.
@ BadBoyBoogie – I've only experienced two co-op games where the other guys start killing each other and it is bloody annoying. The first time it happened to me I was sooo pissed off but didn't want to quit the game as you get points/money deducted. The second time round I was wearing my headset and actually told them off for wasting my time, I was very stern with them, didn't swear, it was more like the head principle telling off the pupil and shockingly they applogised and we went on to win  .
As Teflon said the pump taunt is hilarious, I only use it when I'm at a checkpoint,waiting for others and just before the game ends (only if we win) so be prepared as I will be using it !!!
Anyway see you guys on sunday
