Once you get familiar with the maps and the wave of baddies it's not to bad  . Teamwork is essential. I've found that Warzone is the easiest map and the last part of The Monastery really hard. Watchout for the baddies with grenade launchers, laser site guns and those annoying guys who sneak up behind and strangle you resulting in your team mates having to save your bacon. Headsets are a must.
@ BadBoyBoogie – I've only experienced two co-op games where the other guys start killing each other and it is bloody annoying. The first time it happened to me I was sooo pissed off but didn't want to quit the game as you get points/money deducted. The second time round I was wearing my headset and actually told them off for wasting my time, I was very stern with them, didn't swear, it was more like the head principle telling off the pupil and shockingly they applogised and we went on to win  .
As Teflon said the pump taunt is hilarious, I only use it when I'm at a checkpoint,waiting for others and just before the game ends (only if we win) so be prepared as I will be using it !!!
Anyway see you guys on sunday 
@da_buckethead and teflon – I've nothing against the pump taunt per se, but what winds me up is when you're playing co-op with randoms, and two of you are waiting at the checkpoint, and the third guy is just a few feet away and is constantly performing the pump for literallly five minutes!!!! I've even had two games where it's gone on for so long that the game has timed out because one guy has been p***ing about for so long!!!
I agree though, when used appropriately, the taunts can be hilarious, particularly when you've stealth killed someone in Deathmatch or scored a goal in Plunder for example!!! 
@Lfc-Gaz – Sorry you can't make it tonight mate, but hopefully this will become the first of many regular co-op meets.

It was a fun co-op meet last night, even though there were only two of us !!! Co-op on Normal when there's only two of you is certainly a challenge, but we managed to complete 2 of the 3 maps without too much trouble!!
For anyone that doesn’t know, this weekend is a double XP weekend for Uncharted 2, running from 18:00 Thursday 24 December until 19:00 Sunday 27 December. With this in mind, I have setup a co-op meet for this Thursday evening at 20:00 to try and take advantage of the extra online cash on offer!!
Depending on interest, bearing in mind it’s Christmas Eve, if there are more than 3 players interested, we can split up into separate groups.

Naughty Dog didn't say anything about the double XP being for competitive games only, but if that's the case we could always switch to deathmatch or team objectives.

its official, UC2 is possibly the most annoying game to try and do a meet with outside of LBP…. disconnections, getting dropped from parties… entire games blowing up in our faces half way through…
Seriously sorry to everyone who didn't get a TSA game at all, I have zero idea as to what the problem could be. A fortnight ago I could host a game of 9 but this week I managed six before we had serious issues.
*sigh*
Just to say, if anyone sees me gaming over the weekend and wants to join me, just shoot me a message and we'll team up.

I managed to host a full 10 about a month ago, but when I tried hosting today after your attempt failed, I couldn't get past 4! Each week we do a meet, someone different seems to have connection problems. It's completely random.
Anyway there were some good matches there, plus we won quite a lot of them

I sent an email Sony Support's way (not the easiest email address to find) explaining our terrible plight and asking if there's any help they can give. Probably won't get a reply back for a while what with it being the festive time of joy and happiness and all that.
But in the efforts of troubleshooting, for next time Im going to re-install all the UC2 data that's accumulated and repacth the game back to the latest version. I'll also restart my router and avoid downloading prior to the meet. Blow out any cobwebs there.
Aside from that, I've got no ideas other than a patch from ND.

Nice one re the Sony e-mail. It'll be interesting to hear what they say, assuming they reply!!
Up until last night, I've not had any problems with UC2 before, so hopefully it was just a hiccup. It was really weird as I could join the lobby okay, it was just that I couldn't stay in it for more than 5 seconds!!! I didn't have any problems playing with randomers afterwards, so the problem seemed to be very specific.
Fingers crossed the next meet will run more smoothly.

I got my response, and it's just the standard gibberish they send out to you if you're having generic net connection problems. Put the console in a DMZ on your router and create custom network settings in the XMB.
Doesn't seem to helpful, but I might give it a go, see if it magically does something.
BBB, I'll keep an eye out for you, and if your willing, we can try and party up in UC2, since it was you that had the worst problems.

OK mate, sounds like a plan!!
Incidentally, I’m hosting a UC2 meet tonight (or at least I’m attempting to), so depending on whether that runs smoothly or not, I should know whether Tuesday night’s problems were just a one off blip, or something more fundamental with my ISP/router settings etc.
With regards to tonight’s meet, I’ll be sending out friend requests to those signed up who aren’t already on my friends list, and a PSN Text Chat invite so that we can discuss things.

yes it was… specially since it didn't really make too much sense, but I'll let you off and just be totally appalled that you could even suggest such a thing! 
We'll this game's either still got some kinks in its MP parties, or its had some new ones put in there… BBB and I were joined by Stingraz for a couple rounds of Co-op, before heading into the endless wait for an MP game (which only seems to take so long when Im in a party). First game that showed up and we started playing only for BBB to get kicked, then Sting, then another guy, and it's just me and a random facing off against a full team of 5. The best part is that the two of us kicked butt and won 
BBB and I joined up again and played the occasional game during the hours of waiting before I decided that I was going to quit after the next game. Which the PS3 must have taken offence to, since it froze on me 10 seconds later. What the junk?
stupid game. I hope they can fix it with the next patch so that it's as seamless as I remember it being during the beta and at launch.

hello.
If the update before Uncharted 2 wasn't enough… BLOODY HELL! I find online on Uncharted 2 very hard to get into. I've only had it two days, but already I can see why I might be very tempted to stay on MW2(which co-incidently is starting to bore me). However, once I do get into a match it is very good gameplay and fun.
As I now have the game, I can now play in the meets. So seeing the meet up last night was a pleasant surprise. Only two people? Well, i thought, there might be a space for me!It was fun on co-op with BBB, and teflon – hope to play again sometime.
