Well, the meet wasn't an awful failure. Me, Freezebug, Tobo and Heedbaw all played for an hour or so, mainly just playing through races/Marked Mans/Road Rages. 'Twas fun, but I had to play in Standard Definition on an old, knackered telly, whoch nearly made my eyes bleed. :D

Nice short meet last night guys, sorry about getting carried away with the stunt run, I was on a roll and enjoying it, while you all waited lol.
@ tobo You seemed a little unsure as to how you win the Super Turbo Dustorm Buggy that me and Heedbaw always drive on the meets so I decided to show you with pictures.
Load up Big Surf Island offline and go to this point on the map with your basic buggy….
 
or here if easier….
Complete that Burning route with the Basic Buggy that you have under the time that you are given and the Super Turbo is yours.

ah, posting again. Yeah, had a blast last night. Just unfortunate I got visitors turning up unexpectedly or I would've been on longer.
And, as I've already told freezebug, my HDD corrupted and I'm onto an older back up save. Still, won't take long to do SP stuff but I'll drop to having about 150 challenges complete.

Ok guys, it's that time again and here are the two list's of lobbies with host's…

As usual I will set up a text chat room and anyone that wants any particular challenges or other events doing can post in the chat room to let the host know. If and when the two lobbies get down to eight players again we can merge into one lobby as usual. I'll add the players to my friends list that I don't already have on it so I can invite them to the chat room and as you already know the host's will need to do the same for game invite purposes. See you all in Paradise.
Edit: updated lists as GTOWN can't make it.

Really sorry guys, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it at all today :( Gutted as I would have like to have completed the Island challenges with Cam and Manor, but ah wells. Have fun though!

Well that was a great meet, I actually won a race, Manor won a marked man to his disbelief, we got all of the Island challenges done in record time ( although I got lost once or twice lol ) and Hunter completed his six player challenges. I think the newcomers to the meets enjoyed themselves and hope to see you all again at future meets, I arrange them same time every Sunday. Thanks goes to Teflon for doing a great job as host….again, hope you kept them in order mate. Thankyou all for attending and I hope that we have as good a turnout next week, cheers guys.
@ digitalmanAZ You should start next weeks meet using your son's log in instead of using it at the near end.

Just about…
I'll definitely beat Snakefingers next time at the round Paradise race. There's a 100% possibility it could happen…
Had a disconnect in the last race, though, which was really annoying cos he'd just crashed and I was past him… grrr…
Anyway, it's my pleasure. Got a good few challenges done, and continued my prowess with running away during MMs.

Well I finally won a marked man but was wack at the races. I think my best race was in the Extreme Hot Rod.

@ Manor – Yes I still need the 2 island challenges, cheers for doing the ones that we managed to do. We would have proberly had time to do them all if it wasn't for me losing the connection quite a few times. After I'd turned my pc off I had no more problems so I guess I know where the fault lies.
I enjoyed the meet, I even managed to finish one of the round Paradise races before the time ran out.

Nevaaaaarrrrrggghhh, Teflon! I enjoyed the meet a lot. I'm still awful at MMs, but that RR was ridiculously close. I'm on the run to Lone Stallion Ranch, been running for a good 5 minutes, just leaving Casey Pass to run to the ranch, then SURPRISE!!!!! Tef pops up over the ridge = insta-takedown. Carbon Hawker vs Dust Storm Superturbo means there's only 1 winner.
We had 4 Around Paradise races on Sunday. I was cruelly robbed of victory in the first one by a glitch, after the Naval Yard checkpoint refused to trigger, allowing AdmiringWorm to zoom through and leave me in second. I won the second race by an easy 2.3 miles, leaving Tef in the dust. :D
However, for the third race Heedbaw joined, and with the cars set to 'Host's Choice', he ran a superb race in the PCPD Special, again beating me down to second by 18 seconds. Finally, the lobby was breaking up, so we had one last race. The opening was neck and neck between myself and Teflon, until a cruel disconnect forced him out of the running, and then I led to the finish.
Might not be able to make it on Sunday, but I'm looking forward to the next time Teflon tries to beat me. In 5 races (not counting all other runners), I've won 5 times over Teflon. :D Good luck anyway, I'll keep practicing. :P

Next Sunday's meet is booked in and should be live soon, so get signed up for the possible Teflon v's Snakefingers showdown….or just to have a few hours of great fun in Paradise.

I loved doing that to you :D
To be fair, though, the carbon hawker's not that good a takedown car, I just like it cos it's fast. I need to be going full pelt in order to take someone down head on, and even then I'll get wiped out too.
Easily my favourite takedown since the last time I smashed Dex up…

Hi mate, and welcome to our TSA Burnout meet up thread. I noticed that you have signed up for the meet already so I will see you next Sunday afternoon for some great fun. It is surprising how many people have thought the same as you regarding when they got around to buying BP…..I played the demo and wasn't too fussed, but when the game dropped in price I bought it and have never looked back. I would love another Burnout open city game but that ain't about to happen so I am making the most of BP and having great fun in doing so.
