Super Stardust HD To Get Trophy Support [8]
We’re a wee bit late on this, but we’ve just noticed that Sony plans to add several new features to the great Super Stardust HD next month. In May there’ll be a new split screen co-op mode, versus matches (4 players on the same screen) a music attack mode (generates levels on the fly [...]

PSN Content: 27/12/07 [1]
Well, Thursday sure sneaked up on us. First up, weighing in at a whopping 1.7GB is Bizarre’s The Club, in a demo exclusive (just now) to the PlayStation 3, and the European PSN at that, so grab it now. Secondly Super Stardust HD has finally been officially ‘updated’ too, although we told you [...]

360 To Get Motion Sensing [4]
We don’t frequent Xbox 360 sites, it makes our collective noses curl, but this one caught our eye with it’s click-baiting headline. Despite having a good old giggle at Sony when they announced the SixAxis, Microsoft are allegedly looking to add gyroscopic functions, courtesy of the boffins at Gyration, to the 360 pad. [...]

SSHD v2 Now Out [5]
Further to our report yesterday about the odd Super Stardust HD content up on PAL stores, we can tonight confirm that deleting and re-downloading the PAL version of the game will give you custom soundtracks, Dual Shock 3 rumble and some audio-visual improvements, plus an in-game store. Most strange, but very welcome.

SSHD To Get Multiplayer Mode? [3]
Looks like Super Stardust HD is getting an expansion pack. You’ll see the download (for £2.49) on the UK store, and the description gives it all away: New game modes, split screen co-op and versus, music attack, ship editor, clan support and better music and graphics. Don’t purchase the pack yet, mind, because it doesn’t [...]

Super Stardust HD [1]
Sweaty palms aren’t something the current PS3 library seems to produce. With most games offering multiple save points or health packs around every corner, it’s taken Housemarque and their sublime Asteroids-themed shooter to finally get pulses racing. Taking the Amiga classic as it’s heart, the Finnish developers have produced a relentless, driving, planet-based [...]

Sony Promise E3 Goodies [1]
Visitors to the PS Store might have noticed this image at least letting us know that there’s going to be something. No idea what yet, but apparently a Heavenly Sword downloadable demo is promised, and hopes are high for similar treatment for Lair.

The European PSN has been on a bit of roll the last 2 weeks, and this week’s update sees the release of the incredible looking Super Stardust HD, a high intensity remix of the Amiga classic – should be £5 at the most. Microsoft UK Now Receiving 2,500 Dead 360s Per Day [2]
Apparently stories today are emerging that the time taken to repair your 360 (remember, it’s WHEN, not IF) is getting outrageous high – some users are claiming their dead 360s are being sent to Prague for repair because the UK repair centres can’t cope with the massive amounts of faulty machines coming in for refurbishment.
