Time to get those tattoos removed, Peter…
Announced yesterday, Microsoft’s key frontman Peter Moore has quit his job as corporate VP and will take on the role of president of EA Sports, a neat job swap with EA’s Don Mattrick moving into Redmond.
“The people at EA Sports have created one of the strongest brands in the entertainment industry and John Riccitiello is building an organisation which will extend the company’s leadership to new platforms and new audiences all over the world,” said Moore. “I couldn’t be more excited about joining EA and moving my family back to the San Francisco Bay Area.”
We doubt it was influenced by some of his recent outbreaks but Moore will certainly be missed by the Xbox team. We wish him all the best, and hopefully he’ll be getting Madden 2009 up to 60fps for us…
