Rumour has it that Need for Speed Pro Street will see a downloadable expansion at some point, and some enterprising PC owners reckon they have got the entire list of cars in such an expansion that appear to be left over in the code, mostly unfinished. Here’s the list for anyone that’s interested, the Veyron 16.4 is of particular interest to petrolheads – that’ll be a monster on the Speed trials.

The folks over at NFS Unlimited think the Leon and the Roadrunner will be free to download (much like Bungie did with PGR3) which will encourage folks to download the pack for free then at least everyone will have the new cars in there so the cheap people aren’t racing against invisible vehicles. Not that we’re suggesting you’re cheap, of course. Let’s hope they’re right. Source.
Update: We don’t know if the above cars will make the expansion pack, but we can confirm that such a pack is coming, at least to the 360. The download will feature 14 new cars and two new tracks: the Porsche Leipzig Test Track and Japan’s Shuto Expressway.
