Square Enix have launched registration for the Final Fantasy XIV beta, yes… I know Final Fantasy XIII is still some way from landing on our shelves, although it’s not so long until the lucky Japanese can get their mitts on it. This hasn’t stopped the process of gearing up for XIV though, which will shortly be entering its beta phase giving some lucky applicants the chance for an early peak.
The beta for the Final Fantasy based MMO is for the PC only at this stage, and although the title will be appearing on the PS3 no details have been announced of a beta for the platform just yet.
