Originally pencillled in for a late 2009 release, Raven Software’s time-warping FPS was previously bumped to March 2010 in order to allow it to “breathe” in a less competitive release period. If GameStop’s revised listing is anything to go by, however, it appears Singularity has once again fallen victim of the whims of market forces, as now a June release date for the title is looking more likely.
The official word is … well, there is no official word. But with titles such as BioShock 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction and a certain Greek god-slayer making their long awaited appearance in March, we wouldn’t be surprised if Activision are putting Singularity back on the shelf for another more opportune window .
