Good people of the Interweb, you do impress us with your ability to spot a leak a mile off. It seems that a description of some upcoming DLC for the smash-em-up ‘Transformers: War For Cybertron’ was accidently posted on Xbox.com.
Of course it was removed pretty sharpish, but not before rattlesnake quick xBox’ers took down all the details.
The description read as follows;
“Become the ultimate weapon and wage war in four new maps – engage in multiplayer combat in HAVOC and FORTRESS or fend off waves of Autobots in DISTRICT, and Decepticons in FORSAKEN, two new Escalation mode maps.
Also gain access to 5 characters and their chassis for use in Escalation mode and Multiplayer character creation; SCATTERSHOT, ONSLAUGHT, DEMOLISHOR, SHOCKWAVE and JAZZ are ready for battle. Fight to the end in the war that started it all! There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.”
No release date or pricing was mentioned, and as nothing has been officially confirmed, we have to put this in the rumour corner until such time as Activision makes an announcement.

So very amusing as the character DLC has been selling for upto £50 per character on eBay since the game launched. Now they’ll sell the lot for a few quid :D

I pre-ordered it and was going to get the Shockwave character but then I got cold feet and canceled because, lets face it, what were the chances it was going to be good historically speaking? Turns out it really is good and I ended up getting it the day after release and promptly kicked myself for not keeping my pre-order and losing out on Shockwave,
