Kinect To Launch With 19 Games

Kinect launches at the beginning of November – not long to wait now, but if you were wondering which games to pick up alongside the innovative hands-free controller, Microsoft have just pinged over a handy list of all nineteen games which, according to the publisher, offers “something for everyone” this Christmas.

It’s certainly an interesting line-up (with an obvious emphasis on sports games and keep fit titles) even if some of the games span the whole month…

  1. IF i WAS to buy Kinect, i would buy none of these games

  2. Get Fit with Mel B for the win! lol

    • That I’ll be Mel Brooks then.

      • I would pay for that, imagine it, Schwartz lifting, Springtime star jumps, Frankenstein Flat Bench presses, the possibilities are endless.

    • I’m waiting for the sequel ‘Get knocked up and dumped with Mel B’.

      • This comment gave me the strength to make it throught the rest of the day. Thank you.

  3. There’s not a single game in the list that I would buy. Just as well I’m not interested in Kinect.

  4. Not a single game is any good. Not good.

  5. its not aimed at anyone who has ever once posted on a gaming forum, they’re advertising on oprah…

    • Aww i was just getting used to Oprah.

dam, guess ill just stick with the view to release my girlish side

  6. Dance Central will prob be the biggest seller, and maybe Kinectimals with families

Not heard too much about the fitness games, but we all know how well Wii Fit turned out

also, Fighters Uncaged, Crossboard 7 and Sonic Riders look like fun… I just need a Kinect now, oh and a 360 – perhaps I need a raise first though?

    • I thought all the TSA staff got paid in biscuits so you want jammy dodgers? :P

      • But if I get enough biscuits a shopkeeper might exchange them for a rather expensive motion sensing camera

      • As long as Tuffcub doesn’t see your biscuits.

Hey Tuffcub CCstar has biscuits. lol :P

  7. Lol 3 Dance games,5fitness games,3 sports games.
How many games does move have?I think it has about 22games to that support the game right now.

    • Aren’t all the dance & fitness games coming out on Move as well? Just replace Dance Central with Singstar Dance and the rest are 3rd party multi-platform releases, AFAIK.

  8. I was tempted to get a 360 just for Joyride as it was free ‘n’ all but now I’d rather it have stayed free and not been Kinect implicated, I should have know, it’s Microsoft, they don’t know what the word free means! >:I

  9. No wonder then need to chuck half a billion at Kinect in advertising.

    • HA! Good one =)

    • Do their TV ads even show any gameplay I can’t remember? My brain falls out my ear when they come on.

  10. Dance Central and Your Shape looks good, but I’m torn on whether Your Shape or EA Sports Active would be better
