The Back to the Future trilogy is due for release on Blu-ray next week following a return to cinema screens to celebrate its 25 year anniversary. Those that are planning on purchasing the box set will find a little surprise inside. According to Joystiq a code, “121GIGAWATTS”, will be included allowing you to download a “complimentary first episode” for the PC or Mac. At present the insert provides you with a web address which will allow you to redeem the code, currently the address sends you to the game’s homepage.
Telltale Games confirmed that “at the URL on the insert, people will be able to register for the free episode and will receive notification from Telltale Games when the episode is available to download.”
Rumours have suggested that the first episode could be released next month but at present Telltale Games has refused to give a firm date.
“We haven’t announced the release date for the first episode of the game quite yet – soon though.”

But wait a sec, TSA … you tellin’ me that… the game that doesn’t have an oficial release date… has a voucher to download it for free?
Oh man, this is heavy.
I can’t wait for this game and hope it comes out on the ps3.

Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there some problem with the Earth’s gravitational pull?

I have been following the Telltale progress on this for a while. They sent me a survey a while back (as a Tales of Monkey Island purchaser) and the questions on there certainly suggested they were making some interesting and positive design decisions.
Going by Telltale’s Sam and Max and Monkey Island ressurections, I am very keen to play this one.

I can see this being terribly pants. Hope not, but i reckon so.

Have faith, Telltale are gamers with a keen eye for retro. If anyone will do this justice, they will
PoorPaddy89
Hopefully in the game you play as the Doc, pulling various shocked expressions and changing the time/space continuum as you do so. If it’s not then fuck ’em, and I want to see it on LBP2.

Where we’re going we don’t need codes!

Sorry for double post, but do they have Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd to do the voices?
DRCD1
They got Christopher Lloyd. Not sure about Michael J. Fox, though
