  1. I quite enjoyed blue toad as it’s one of the few games i’ve sat and played with the mrs (computer games that is!). I can see it’s not very good though, i’ll be surprised if it does well on pc.

  2. They keep pricing it too high. I bought the first episode for 99p when the chance came & really enjoyed it but it is not worth their asking price. £10-£12 for the entire thing would have been best bet in PS3.

  3. I have this, I have to say I was very disappointed with it. I think it would be a lot better if you had the option of skipping the extremely looooong cut scenes. Because after you’ve seen them once, you really don’t want to see them again unless you feel you missed something…
Easy trophies though if you can be bothered to sit through those cut scenes. (Me? No.)

  4. Bought the first episode on PSN for 99p and while it was nice enough in it’s design it was a little too simplistic gameplay wise and had zero replayability. Ultimately I didn’t bother with any other episodes.

Ultimately if this wasn’t episodic but a full game it would have probably made a decent £9.99 release – meaning broken down the episodes should have sold for ~£1.69 per episode, not the £7.99 or whatever daft price they had them at to start with. And IMO it would have probably been a lot more successful at that price.

It comes back to my problem with episodic releases – they end up being far more expensive then they should be, despite you doing the developers a favour by buying it in installments…
