Dead Nation Arriving December 1st

Cornetto?

Sony have finally announced a release date for the much anticipated zombie shooter Dead Nation, and here in Europe we’ll be able to get our hands on it in a little over two weeks on 1st December. The game will be out in the US on 30th November.

“Dead Nation features online and offline two-player cooperative play, a lengthy campaign littered with hidden treasures, hugely upgradeable weapons and armor, and tremendous replay value thanks to a host of difficulty levels.” reads the post.

Dead Nation will cost £9.99 (or €12.99 in the EU and $14.99 in the US), and will come with its very own Platinum trophy. Read our own impressions of it here.

  3. OOoooh! Been looking forward to this for a while now, glad it’ll be here soon. Probably wait a few weeks until I’ve played GT5 a little more extensively though.

    • wait a few weeks for the inevitable price drop to

      • Nah, I’m happy enough to pay full price, especially to a company I like. But if I buy it as it comes out, it’ll just be sat there on my HDD while I’m playing GT5, although if it does come down in price and I’m still playing GT5 I’ll get it then.

      • Price drop of premium titles will be months or even longer

      • They just seem to drop like flies the last few months to me, I shall be buying it day one just to lend my support

  4. Cant wait still not sure about it hopefully they’ll give us a demo so I make can make my mind up.

  5. Is it a twin stick shooter?

    • From what I have seen/heard, yes. Either that or it will employ the same control scheme as Team 17’s Alien Breed re-makes.

    • Yup.

      • Cool, love them – As soon as I’ve finished with Dead Ops Arcade I’ll be in faster than you can say housemarque make great games

  6. £9.99 is a steal for this. Looks great, should be very addictive I think.

  7. From what I have heard about the game so far, it will instantly warrant the ten quid price tag. Dead Nation couldn’t come at a more perfect time.

  8. Perfect for christmas :D along with gt5

black ops and fifa have just swamped me recently, feel sorry for my dusty move controllers LOL

  9. At last ! There’s been precious little to tempt me on the store recently so i’ve been looking forward to this.

  10. I played the beta to death, it’s superb and suprsingly scary for a top down shooter thanks to the awesome audio. The use of surround sound and grubbly noises is pant moistening.
