ESRB Rates Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls for PSN

Saviours of correctitude, the ESRB, have rated XSEED’s Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls, a new RPG from Japanese developer Acquire, a cheeky “Teen”.

We’re promised “turn-based battles” against “ghosts, demons, goblins, and zombies—depicted in still images.” You won’t be spending much time with this brutal malarky, however, as the game will also ship with “a gallery mode that includes a few partially nude characters (e.g., creatures with exposed buttocks or hair barely covering breasts).”

If that doesn’t set you off in some deranged paroxysm of depravity, the game also features such untoward words as “ass” and “bastard.” There’s also “wine” involved. You can imagine how this ends.

The latest in the evergreen Wizardry franchise, the series is renowned for its poor/awesome translation into English, first-person perspective and hand-drawn sprites. It will be released on the PSN.

  2. Mmmmmmm partial nudity and bastard use. Looks like I’ll be locking myself away for the weekend and excercising my dart throwing muscles.

  3. Are the words “ass”,“bastard” & “wine” used in the same sentence?
That could prove to be quite depraved!

    • “This wine tastes like ass, you bastard.”
