Ronimo Games, developer of last year’s download arcade strategy title Swords & Soldiers, are currently working on a new project dubbed Awesomenauts. Influenced by over-the-top cartoon intros of the 1980’s the 2D MOBA is playable at this year’s Gamescom with attendees also invited to watch an exclusive screening of the new cinematic trailer.
Publisher dtp Entertainment has confirmed that the Gamescom footage will be made available online one week after the annual gaming event. Awesomenauts is due to launch on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network later this year.
