One of the games announced for the PlayStation Vita at this year’s TGS that really caught our eye was Square Enix’s Army Corps of Hell. We’ve seen plenty of bizarre titles for Sony’s upcoming handheld, but this one really takes the biscuit. Playing as the Lord of the Underworld, you have the ability to command a battalion of zany, expendable minions to do your bidding.
Army Corps of Hell will be developed by Entersphere Co., a studio headed by writer of the acclaimed Pikmin series, Motoi Okamoto. You can certainly see the similarities now can’t you? Army Corps of Hell is due to launch alongside the PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17th.

Nom nom nom.
Not really interested in this type of game, but it’s good to see this sort of variety for the Vita.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy and that is good.
Origami Killer
with jakster, not interested in it but nice to see the support for Vita

If it is anything like Overlord then colour me interested. Also, Pikmin had a certain charm as well.

Mmm, I do love me some expendable minions. Sounds a bit mental, will wait for trailer if I bother remembering.

I haven’t heard of this PS Vita title. It sounds good, although the style of game hasn’t been done very well in a long time so I’m a little skeptical, even though it isn’t rational at all >_>.

Hmm, sounds like a cross between Overlord and Swarm, neither of which i really warmed to i’m afraid. Still, it’s encouraging to see lots of developers supporting the Vita with both respected and new IP’s. And no doubt this game will utilise the Vita’s touch controls to a fair extent but for me the Vita is all about the dual sticks and how they will enable ‘proper’ FPS/TPS games on a handheld.

Am I the only one who thinks you should get a golden Keanu Reeves statue after beating the game? *randomsouthparkreference*
