Sony Online Entertainment has recently announced that it will once again be teaming up with comic book legend Marv Wolfman for the firm’s MMOFPS sequel, PlanetSide 2. The Blade creator, also hailed for his work on The New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths, will craft a narrative, outlining the conflict between the game’s three unique factions and the diverse planet, Auraxis, ever-changing under the constant pressure of war.
The story will be made available via the game’s official website chapter by chapter. “Marv is an extremely talented writer,” told SOE’s Russ Shanks, “and was an instrumental partner in the creation of DC Universe Online. Marv has the ability to create powerful storylines, compelling characters and rich, interlocking narratives that will provide an all-new depth and meaning to thePlanetSide experience for players to enjoy.”
