New Battlefield 3 Trailer Released

Yet another trailer for Battlefield 3 has been released, showing off gunplay, vehicles and a spot of skydiving. The game is due out on October 28th in the UK for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (those lucky, lucky PC owners!).

    • do it. i lived off busking last year. can never really tell how much you’ll earn but if i didn’t busk i wouldn’t own little bip planet 2

    It looks awesome EA shouldn’t worry about negative reviews that trailer just made me excited and an INSTANT buy on launch day!

    • My copy has been pre-ordered & paid for in advance for a few weeks now! My first ever pre-order too! :)

      Literally itching to hit the battlefield at the first opportunity when it plops onto my doormat (& i know i am not alone in that thought!)

    • Don’t think so; it wasn’t mentioned in the last couple of articles on the Battlefield Blog which detailed all the MP maps. OTOH I remember a video interview a while ago with a couple of Dice map designers and they were talking about Wake, so probable DLC? Seems unlikely you’d have a BF game with it (sadly; I hate the bloody place)

      • Battlefield 3 first DLC…
        Back To Karkand, will be included free of charge for those who pre-order Battlefield 3. The Back To Karkand DLC includes maps, vehicles and weapons from Battlefield 2, remade for Battlefield 3. For those who do not pre-order Battlefield 3, the Back To Karkand DLC will be available one month after the release of Battlefield 3 and is expected to retail at $10.

        Four Battlefield 2 maps: Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula and Wake Island.
        Several exclusive Battlefield 2 guns and rifles Several exclusive Battlefield 2 vehicles. New awards The Back To Karkand DLC will be available for free to those who pre-order Battlefield 3, while everyone else will get a chance to purchase the DLC approximately one month after the release of Battlefield 3.

        On May 23, EA announced a new pre-order deal with UK game retailers GAME and Gamestation UK, where those who pre-order Battlefield 3 Limited Edition will not only get Back to Karkand DLC, but a few extra goodies:Type 88 LMG, DAO-12 shotgun, Flashette ammo for DAO-12 shotgun, Flash suppressor for SKS sniper rifle. The pre-order deal is expected to be offered in the US through GameStop and/or other retailers. the Physical Warfare pack will be released for free to everyone later in 2012. (bf3 blog)

    I knew about the base jump, but great to see it in action. A few other nice surprises in there. Feel like a kid near christmas, looking forward to this big time.

  10. The fact that they have an aircraft carrier in there as a multiplayer map is instant win for me, I absolutely love aircraft carriers!

    Such a brilliant looking trailer too :)
