LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Announced

In what is probably the shortest news post I’ve written, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes has been announced via the Warner Bros. Games Twitter account:

“WBIE, TT Games and the LEGO Group Announce LEGO BATMAN 2: DC SUPER HEROES “

It’s fair to assume what style of game it will be, but I wonder what else TT will bring to the Bat-table. Hopefully more will be revealed soon.

UPDATE: Just as this went out, a press release was sent. The game is due out this summer on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStationVita. Batman and Robin join other super heroes from the DC Universe including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save Gotham City from destruction at the hands of Lex Luthor and the Joker.

In addition players will be able to:

“Explore all new areas of Gotham City utilizing a variety of vehicles including the Batmobile and Batwing. They’ll be able to fight for justice by mastering new gadgets and suits, such as Batman’s Power Suit and Robins’ Hazard Cannon, and using all-new abilities including flight, super-breath and heat vision.”

  1. Toldya :)

  2. Yay, easy birthday pressie for the Mrs then (assuming it comes out this year)

  3. The promo shot leaked a few weeks ago showed Lego Superman, Wonder Woman and what looked like Lex Luthors big mecha suit thing.
After only recently discovering what a joy to play the Lego games are, Im excited.

  4. Telltale just do not stop working!

  5. Great news, my son and I love playing the Lego games.

  6. So are they going to start with online co-op too soon?

  7. Will be cool with extra characters. I liked the first lego star wars game, but got a bit bored after that. I guess it’d be more fun if i had people to play with.

  8. Super looking forward to this.

  9. I wonder if they will take the mick out of the voice of the Christain Bale Batman?

I know that Superman and Batman do crossovers sometimes but it will be interesting to see the plot of Lego Batman 2. :)

It’s out this summer. :O They’ve been working hard then(I hope). I may download the demo if there is one as i’ve not been a fan of the lego games but am a bit batty(Batman fan). :)

  10. Daft title if you ask me. Seeing as Batman IS a DC Superhero, why not just Lego DC Superheroes?
