Kanye West Recruiting Games Developers

As you are aware the staff at The Sixth Axis are lyrical wordsmiths, beat-masters and street poets so we were excited* to hear that our old pal* Kanye West was recruiting the best of the best for his new design firm ‘DONDA’.

“DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas” said Kanye.

The multi-millionaire rapper is on the lookout for social media experts, DJs, video game designers and ‘app guys’ for his new company, so expect the entire staff of TSA to resign en mass very shortly.

It’s not just the digital world the modest* Mr West wishes to conquer, he is also on the lookout for architects, graphic designers, directors, musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social  managers, car designers, clothing designers, publishers, lawyers, bankers and nutritionists.’

DONDA will begin with twenty two separate divisions that will ‘create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need.’

*Not really.

  1. Oh dear.

    • Agreed.
      Just awful.

      • Yep, didn’t he fail at getting into a London fashion course last year/one before. He seems to be full of mental ideas..

  2. riposa in pace, video gaming

Hopeing that google actually translated Rest in Peace….

  3. Why is it always the most untalented and arrogant bastards in hip hop and rap that feel the need to expand into multiplatform business ventures?
Isn’t it enough to participate in destroying a musical culture, why must they also stain the movie and video game market (to mention but a few) with their presence?

    • Arrogant? Definitely, but I wouldn’t go as far as calling him untalented.

      • Well, I would and I do – he had skills back in the days of Through the Wire and such, but the expected rap arrogance has become plain old arrogance, and his latest stuff is not even hip hop, it’s simply pompous pop toss. If you have skills and waste them, then you’re untalented to me.
Besides, all artists who help front hip hop as pop – and successfully help turn the general opinion in that direction – are moneygrubbing, culture destroying nobends, and I take that stuff personal.

      • I agree that his new stuff is pretty disappointing but talent is not something you lose. He just isn’t using it… :P

      • ‘but I wouldn’t go as far as calling him untalented’

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I think that’s the funniest thing I’ve ever read XD

    • His music is pretty good tbh. Taylor Swift had it coming, now she is talentless.

  4. What a nob

    • Delete all other posts. We have a winner. Lock thread. Day complete.

      *golf claps*

  5. Sounds about right, DONDA just gonna be another one of those companies that TSA cosies up to and takes backhanders to help destroy the comeptition….You disgust me.

*please note this is a tongue in cheek comment and I am fully aware that thesixthaxis does not accept, nor does it condone, bribery of any kind, except Kris who is totally tight with Bill Gates and is defo only in it for the money

    • *golf clap* Your comment made my first day of work after a two week holiday. :D

  6. Perhaps he can employ someone to make his albums good again.

  7. lol

  8. “DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas”

sounds like the sort of thing that spends hundreds of thousands of pounds to rebrand a company and just designs a logo a five year old would be embarrassed of.

  9. Sounds like shovelware in the making. I wonder how many Kanye West games DONDA will try to flog to everyone before they get fed up with it?

  10. I’m not really sure why there’s so many negative comments on this. The guy has money and wants to branch out. If he employs some talented people, then some good stuff may come of this. Why all so negative?

    • I like his music, I have no interest in him as a person really so what he wants to do with his truckload of cash is up to him

    • Erm.. cos Kanye is a tosspot? Nice idea, terrible person.

    • I completely agree. He’s a douche but since when does one have to take crap for creating jobs? An unknown game studio closes down and everybody is sad but a crazy person starts up a company, creating jobs and everybody bitches about it.
Let’s just wait and see if something comes out of this before we start judging…

    • Because it all reeks of arrogance. hey I figured out how to conquer ever industry possible. I’ll just hire the best of the best and they’ll make the best products, ergo I win. End of story. I would expect someone of his status to know a bit more about the real world.

      • You kind of described almost every CEO out there… I really don’t see how this is any different except that this guy has been a douche in front of a camera. Other CEOs are probably just like him or even worse, you just don’t see it on MTV.

    • I really don’t see the problem people have here. Completely agree with you, we could see something positive come out of this. Isn’t this how the world runs now, arrogant rich people creating new firms? don’t see that everyday do you…just pointing out that was sarcasm.
Plus I like his music, all of it.

      • I gotta agree to. I hope something good comes out of it. If creative people are given good platform to express themselves then surely thats gotta be a good thing, whether it’s by someone deemed as arrogant or not.
