Rising Star Games has announced the opening of its new US headquarters, based in California. Rising Star Games, who have published titles such as King of Fighters XIII & the Harvest Moon Games, also announced Rising Star Games Digital which will focus solely on publishing games on digital platforms, such as XBLA, PSN and Steam, as well as mobile devices.
Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games, commented on the expansion.

Akai Katana, an Xbox 360 exclusive being developed by CAVE, will be the Rising Star Games’ first title to be published simultaneously in North America and Europe.
