Bulletstorm, it’s fair to say, played like the prologue episode to a series of games. It ended just as the real story seemed to begin, obviously leading into a sequel. But in an interview with Gamespot, Mike Capps – president at Epic – has said that People Can Fly are no longer working on the sequel they had begun initial development on.
Capps said that Epic had found another project they believed People Can Fly were better suited to and had shelved Bulletstorm 2 altogether after it didn’t perform as strongly as they’d hoped. Although, he did indicate a desire to return to it one day.
I think there’s more to do with Bulletstorm. Heck, it kind of ended wanting more. I’d love to see another project, but right now we don’t have anything to talk about.
Well, yes. It was very obviously setting up a sequel. Still, the PC port was apparently pirated quite heavily and Capps indicated that EA weren’t as happy with sales as they could have been so we can hardly blame Epic for wanting to focus People Can Fly on this as yet unnanounced new project. Hopefully we’ll get to see what that is very soon.

Shame. Bulletstorm was a lot of fun. Not the best game in the world but certainly enjoyable enough

Bulletstorm’s ending screamed for a sequel. It’ll be really sad if there will never be one.

What a shame. Bulletstorm was a lot of fun. I love People Can Fly and am very interested in what they’re currently working on.

oh ho ho, here we go again.
PC Sales low? lets blame the pirates, lets not blame the QTE`s or the fact you cant jump properly, or the fact that to get it working properly on PC you need to edit the *encrypted* config files, oh no no no its the Pirates!
its almost Hitler-esque really, when he needed a figure to take them blame for Germanys ills he chose the Jews* and in this modern day and age if a PC game does badly, no matter how much of a piece of junk, no matter how badly optimised its always the Pirates who prevent it from selling millions more than it did.
Bastards.

I skipped it when it released and picked it up much later. Having found it to be much more enjoyable than i had expected i would certainly pay more attention to any sequel that get’s released in the future. Having said that, i can probably get as much fun out of playing the original again as i might from a sequel so i’m not in any rush.

Haven’t played the first yet. Got it during the American meltdown, limited edition for peanuts.
