Sniper Elite V2 has topped the sales charts for the last week, pushing Activision’s Prototype 2 down into second place. The 360 version told the most, but that seems fairly common throughout the top 40 listed below.
Mortal Kombat was the sole PS Vita game charting, sadly, down at number 33.

Reviewed badly but, from what I’ve seen so far, Sniper is a cracking little game and a lot of fun. Even the demo kept me occupied for a couple of hours lol.

Good to see Sniper Elite is top, I actually didn’t think it would sell that well, but it’s a quiet time of year (gaming wise) and the demo was well received. Hope to pick this up at some point.

yeah same price in asda,got my copy friday and it was good while it lasted but it has a few things going against it…on the ps3 it does not properly save your game at check points.so if you turn off before finishing the level once the game is loaded again you have to start the level from the start not from the check points, and if you think that is not bad some levels are up to an hour long.Also not having player vs player multi player on the consoles is just stupid.if you like replaying levels once finished the game then you will love it but remember all enemies are in the same place all the time so could get boring fast.also there is a frustration thing in the game where you think a place is clear of enemies and you walk abit to only have them spawn behind you, and kill you.you can accurately see them spawn if you know where to look.

Definitely seems like a rental sort of game but, given you can get a copy for 27quid and most stores will offer you more than that in trade in at the moment, (Blockbusters is about 29quid trade in at the moment), it’s worth buying a cheap copy and giving it a try.

Interesting to see the breakup of 360 and PS3 game sales – 360 clearly has the edge over here.
Annoyingly I had to cancel my Sniper V2 pre-order, and also my Ghost Recon one. Just don’t have the money right now.
