Stealth Vampire Adventure ‘Dark’ Announced For PS3 & Xbox 360

Kalypso Media have announced a vampiric stealth action game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The game is being developed by Realmforge and puts players in the role of a vampire out to discover the secrets of the mysterious global GeoForge Corporation – sounds like Deus Ex Vampire to us.

The PR blurb lists the following features:

  • Stealth and action combine as players walk the world in darkness and silence, attacking their unsuspecting foes with supernatural fury
  • Use powerful vampire abilities and hard-hitting melee attacks to defeat dangerous enemies — turn into a puff of smoke and disappear, or close with your foes in an instant!
  • Powerful and intelligently controlled AI enemies mix the fantastic with the real-world. Battle police and elite special forces along with ghouls and other vampires
  • Castles, museums, skyscrapers, nightclubs and more are rendered in stunning 3D cel-shaded graphics, beckoning the player to explore — but beware, powerful enemies hide everywhere
  • RPG element mix with a compelling story – players will build up their skills through successful evasion and combat, while advancing the story through conversations with NPCs

Judging by the screenshots perhaps ‘Green’ might be a better name for the game.

  1. He doesn’t even have long hair, isn’t pale white and doesn’t look bit vampiric. Pass. Even the hair looks as if it was ripped from the terriible hairstyles on Fifa.

    • No cape either. It’s like they haven’t even seen Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

  2. Cel-shaded, vampires and some RPG elements. Blade-lands would be a better title.

  3. This will either be awesome, or completely rubbish. Nice to see something new though.

    • Agreed. And although I’m not a fan of stealth games, if it’s awesome I’m there!

  4. Thats alot of green alrite, but sure Deus Ex had alot of gold.

  5. Think i’ll just wait for TellTales Vampire Diaries The game

  6. I bet they do a downloadable edward cullen skin.

  7. Vampires in a sci-fi setting doesn’t appeal to me, similarly the cel-shaded visuals although the mechanics of the game sound interesting.
Btw I’m currently reading George RR Martin’s “Fevre Dream” which is excellent, best vampire story i’ve read in years!

  8. stealth vampire game?
i hope we don’t have another Vampire Rain on the way.

but a good vampire rpg is something i’d enjoy playing.
why has nobody brought the Masquerade series to consoles anyway?

  9. Interesting, I’ll pay attention to this. Not going to expect too much at the moment though.
