Aliens: Colonial Marines Gets A Collector’s Edition

Sega has unveiled the contents of a special Collector’s Edition for Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Pre-order the game from Amazon and you will receive:

  • A copy of the game
  • Powerloader figurine
  • Collector’s Edition Xend Hive box
  • USCM Dossier including mission brief, USS Sephora schematic, Recruitment card, LV-426 recon photo, USCM iron-on badges and a USCM graduation certificate.
On top of that, you get exclusive in-game content including:
  • Four playable movie characters (CPL Hicks, PVT Hudson, SGT Apone, PVT Drake)
  • Ripley’s flamethrower
  • Additional marine customisation
  • USCM Academy Firing Range
  • Phase Plasma Rifle
  • Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers

All that stuff comes to a grand total of £59.99 for PC and £69.99 on PS3/360 on Amazon.

A regular, ‘limited edition’ is also available for those who pre-order the regular version and comes with the four movie characters, Ripley’s flamethrower and the additional marine customisation.

  2. Pretty cool and a decent price compared to some other special editions out there.
    Will probably get the standard edition on this occasion mind you as the game itself doesn’t look stunning.

    now i think about it, does this game even feature any female marines?

    i really hope not, because if there’s one franchise where this men only chauvinistic boys club bullshit has no place, it’s the Alien series.

    the game looks interesting, i saw a trailer before Prometheus.

    and i’d love that power loader.

    but if there are no women, i just couldn’t get past that.
