Limited Edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 Bundle Planned

[drop2]Still not picked up an Xbox 360? Would a Halo 4 bundle help sway your mind? How about one with a chunky hard drive and lots of custom elements you can’t get elsewhere?

Well, it looks like Microsoft are planning just that, although they’ve also pulled the details suggesting the finer points weren’t meant to be revealed quite yet.

The custom designed (by 343 Industries) console will have a weighty 320 GB hard drive, exclusive sound effects (cool), two controllers, a copy of Halo 4 and some possibly rather exclusive Halo 4 DLC.

The controllers will have rotating D-pads and blue LEDs, and the DLC will include unique armor skin, unique weapon skin, unique emblem, matching avatar armor, and unique avatar prop.

We’ll update with pricing and so on once this thing is officially listed.

  1. Oooooo, now that is tempting. Cheap skate father moment for Xmas I think. New Halo 4 Xbox 360 for daddy, daddy’s old Xbox 360 wrapped up for son, mu ha ha! Shame the son wants a Vita instead :-/

I do like these limited edition consoles and given enough money i’d probably buy quite a few of them. I like the looks of this one as it’s quite striking in ice like blue and grey and blue LEDs always look nice.

    • I like the idea of the Halo sounds when you switch it on and off!

  2. My brother got the one they bundled with Halo: Reach and have to say it’s pretty cool. I think he’s planning on getting this one too.

  3. Looks stunning but alas I upgraded by boring 4GB 360 to the limited Gears of War one this past weekend

  4. When it red rings after a few months do we get the “OVERKILL” sound effect?

    • I’ve heard the Gears one yells “REVIVE ME!” when it dies so your theory seems plausable ;)

  5. looks pretty cool, but price is determines if people buy stuff or not.

  6. The Halo: Reach one was cooler…

    *hugs Xbox 360*
