  1. Oh, I thought it meant between PS3 and 360. Is it launching on consoles? Please say Yes!

    • Nope, doesn’t seem to be sadly.

      • Yeah, would’ve loved to play the games on PS3. It’s a pity that they omitted consoles and developed iOS and Android versions instead (odd choice of platforms IMO). But since they got a touch-pad interface now, how about Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 on PS Vita? :)

  2. ………I want but I’d rather wait to see what people think incase its a disappointment.

  3. Im so looking forward to this for years!!

  4. Didn’t really take to the old PC Baldur’s Gate but the Dark Alliance outings on the PS2 were excellent. Hopefully they’ll be looking to replicate that success instead of flogging a highly polished turd to within an inch of its life (ie. what they’re doing this time around).

  5. The Black Pits wasn’t an original expansion for BG so that’s a whole new addition which is great to see. No mention of Tales of the Sword Coast though, hopefully that will be in as well!

  6. Been meaning to make a post about this but havent had time so ill do it here:

Baldurs Gate will not be available via STEAM or Origin. You have to use Beamdog.

    • That is an odd choice to make as they have effectivly shot themselves in the foot due to Steam being very popular and widely known. Plus, i didn’t even know Beamdog was a digtail distrubtion site. :O

    • I’m sure it will come to Steam eventually, and when it does I’ll be buying it.

      • There’ll probably be some internet petitions soon.
