Rise Of The Triad, a wonderful 90’s PC first person shooter that featured plenty of silly shooting and a good dose of platforming, is coming back.
Under development by Interceptor, the game was announced tonight at QuakeCon where it was confirmed that Unreal 3 would be the technology powering the game, but the same ridiculous action would remain in full.
“We were seeking a strong, independent, hard-working development partner to herald the eagerly-anticipated return of Rise of the Triad,” said Terry Nagy, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Apogee. “We have indeed found that partner in Interceptor Entertainment.”
A single player campaign and multiplayer section round off the package.
The official site for the game is here.
