Konami has secured the signatures of twenty Brazilian clubs to go along with their now-usual Copa Libertadores license. They are quite pleased with themselves, much like anyone when their team signs a Brazilian. To celebrate, they’ve put out a new video featuring the youthful Brazilian prodigy, Neymar as well as some of his compatriots performing a typical trick-filled routine.
The clubs they’ve signed are: Flamengo, Corinthians, São Paulo, Santos, Portuguesa, Internacional, Palmeiras, Fluminense, Ponte Preta, Coritiba, Grêmio, Vasco, Atlético Mieiro, Bahia, Atlético Goianiense, Sport, Figueirense, Náutico, Botafogo, Cruzeiro

This is excellent news, I do think they should push to get the Argentinian League and try and get some of the lower divisions of Spain and Italy. One of the big problems with PES is that Master League feels unrealistic and Career Mode on FIFA the complete opposite of this, it feels very realistic. I’ll always say that I don’t think PES has problems with its gameplay, its the small things like licensing and lack of selection of clubs that really marks its downfall. This is a push in the right direction for them.

Also explains why the demo has so many Brazilian clubs on it.

Funny, it’s the second site I found with the misspelling “Atlético Mieiro” (the correct is Atlético Mineiro). Wondering if it’s just a coincidence or if Konami somehow screwed up on team names…
But great news anyway…

great, now all they need to do is sort out the gameplay. Personally it still looks 4 years older than FIFA in terms of style and gameplay.
