We’re Going Back To Eurogamer Expo – Win Tickets And Come Too!

Last year, some of us went to the Eurogamer Expo down in That London. We rented a house, ate more pizza than a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and visited the show for interviews, developer sessions, game previews and other general shenanigans. I made a video introducing what we would be doing before everyone else arrived and it became impossible to move in the house without kicking over an empty (if you’re lucky) beer bottle.

This year, we’re going back. There will be several of us there for the full four days of the show, with several others joining us at the weekend. We’re currently discussing what sort of things we’d like to get up to and how best to present that to you guys. At the moment we’re planning to scoop some video interviews, report on the dev sessions and get plenty of hands-on write ups about the games that are there. We’ll also be recording several podcasts, with some special guests, over the course of the show. We might even set up a webcam and stream those live.

But, we also want to hear from you about what you’d like to see over the course of the show. Should we film an arthouse documentary about the struggle to obtain the best coverage we can get or should we dick about doing funny voices and making Kris dress like a fool and dance again? Do you want more of me in the bath or would you rather keep your lunch down? More podcasts?

Let us know in the comments below and, as an added incentive, you could win one of five pairs of tickets for either the Thursday or Sunday at Eurogamer Expo. Just give us an idea of what you want to see from TSA’s EGX coverage and tell us if you want to be eligible for the prize draw. We’ll select winners and let you know this time next week. You’ll have to pay your own travel costs to Earl’s Court too, so keep that in mind. Finally, if you’re a winner, hunt us down at the show and we’ll give you some extra TSA goodies too.

  1. I’d love to see some more behind the scenes stuff, mucking around, gag reels, and podcasts are always fun. Fly on the wall kinda stuff is always fun. I know it’s not strictly related to gaming or the con but it’s great to see along with game coverage!

    • maybe you could cover some of the extra stuff that’s going on around, like the geekpub meet, or the borderlands cosplay. kinda capture the atmosphere and the feel of the con as well as the actual games at the con

  2. How about a video of your journey to that London.

  3. Hi, 2 questions about T&C

    1. If I win ticket does it include plus 1. In other words can I bring someone along.

    2. Do I have to make my own way there?

    • How about you video all the flops & shouldn’t have happened moments at expo.

    • Quoted from the post above:

“The prize is a pair of tickets”

“You’ll have to pay your own travel costs to Earl’s Court too, so keep that in mind”

What bit is it you don’t understand?

      • Oooh lol I put my head down in Shame & will invest in some specs

      • Ah, the “pop shot” reader. Sod the foreplay, just dive straight to the wipe-down and sod everything else. :-)

  4. Short interviews with TSAians! Like three quickfire questions.
Giveaway some of the swag obtained for those people unable to attend.
And more videos of everything in general.

  5. Cool prize, i’m already booked in (GF paid for 2 days plus hotel ;) )

  6. Kidnap a Sony rep and hold him hostage until you get info on GT Vita!

Don’t want tickets as I wouldn’t be able to use them, live too far away.

  7. I have become shortsighted due to Kris dancing. Please can you assure me this won’t happen again so I don’t lose my sight altogether?

    • You fapped to that?!

      • Ah, a masturbatory joke. How original. Oh, who am I kidding. Shower me in your comment love!

      • You expected originality?

        From me?! ;)

  8. I’d like to see anything interesting on the Vita please, particularly after the recent couple of quiet PSN Store update weeks for the Vita. Even the recent (and rather excellent) Sound Shapes is available on PS3 too. Also available, although are slight variants, on both Vita and PS3 are NFS Most Wanted, Blops: Declassified, WRC, AC3 – surely there must be something on Vita that’s “big” that is exclusive to the format such as Gravity Rush!

    • With the latter list of games, I meant available soon.

  9. As long as there is new gameplay for the big titles and some interviews, i’ll be happy! :)

  10. I would love to have some interviews that have a bit of a quick-fire section/Yes-No on Developers general thoughts of the industry (or silly stuff if you want) like :

Is the graphics arms race going to be the most important part of the next gen?
Are on-line passes really the best way to make money from used games?
    What’s more important New IP’s or changing/reworking current IP’s?

I would very much like to win the tickets though.
