Sony Announce Video Unlimited for PS4

Sony have just announced Video Unlimited for PS4. The feature will include a selection of video content that are carefully selected for the console’s gamer audience (somehow). The service will include 150,000 films and TV shows on release, with Sony teasing titles such as Community and Breaking Bad – they know their market, then.

Also announced was Redbox Instant from Verizon and Flixster, adding to the media capabilities of the console. It was also noted that the PS3 is the most popular device for watching Netflix, which is probably quite an achievement trophy.

  1. this will interest the lady, depends on the library and price however, we use netflix and whilst its good value, the library is slow to change, was loads better when we used to be able to get US netflix too, that changed about a month ago. Also only would consider this if it is advert free.

  2. Considering Ireland doesn’t even have the video store yet, my expectations of getting this are low.

    • My exact thoughts, lets hope they don’t let Ireland down this time around.
