First up we have a gameplay trailer for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y in which you can preview new Pokémon and characters from the Kalos region.
“‘GTA V’s new trailer was awesome! This free control is future of the game, way higher than anywhere, makes me depress[ed] as matter fact. I don’t think our “V” can reach that level. Rockstar’s team are the best. W/o question they will pull up the possibility of game.” – Hideo Kojima, honest as ever.
Superfrog HD will hop on to PS Vita and PlayStation at the very end of July for £6.49/€7.99. It will be a cross-buy title with 24 new levels alongside the 24 original levels, a level editor and an endless runner mode.

Last week we reported that Thomas Was Alone was most popular on Sony consoles and some of you wondered how well the game has sold. Well the answer is over half a million downloads over all platforms. Cripes.
Bioshock Vita is still a thing! “What’s going on with the Vita project? – I talked to both Sony and 2k about it yesterday. Trying to make a match,” tweeted Ken Levine.
So Obvious I Don’t Why I’m Typing It News: Senior vice president of marketing and sales at Ubisoft, Tony Key, was asked about Far Cry 4, “clearly going to make another one” he said.
A petition asking Microsoft to reinstate the original DRM policies for the Xbox One has gained over 24,000 signatures. Microsoft have seen the petition and spoke to IGN.
“I think it’s pretty simple. We’ve got to just talk more, get people understanding what our system is.The thing that’s really gratifying is that people are excited about the types of features that are possible, and it’s sort of shame on us that we haven’t done as good of a job as we can to make people feel like that’s where we’re headed.”
Meanwhile an AMA on Reddit has revealed that the production costs for the Kinect bar are on par with the console.
“The majority of the masses care only about the console,” wrote an unamed but confirmed Microsoft employee, “Except that the success of the Kinect carries much more weight to us. The sensor costs almost as much as the console to make.”
And Finally, Ultra Street Fighter 4 has been announced and will arrive next year.

How many of those 24,000 signatures on the Microsoft petition came from Sony and Nintendo employees/fanboys?

That tweet has only increased my love of Hideo. I now feel the need to ruffle up his hair, punch him affectionately on the arm and call him “sport”.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 are you guys kidding me !!! I recently bought the Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and I was thinking this is the complete SF4 game. In addition: I bought it for 50PLN (that’s about 13 euro) new/sealed and the new DLC will be 14$ – that’s sick! F&$% You Capcom!
Forrest_01
Erm, yeah – I think i recall Campcom (it was a typo, but it made me chuckle, so i’m leaving it!) stating quite publicly that SFIV Arcade would be the last ‘update’ to the title & that it would be the definitive version.
Ooh, those little liars!

If Kinect costs that much MS really needs to remove the mandatory Kinect and offer Kinect-less Xbox Ones for half the price. MS can force people to use Kinect but they can’t force people to buy Kinect games, the whole Kinect”2″ idea is still going to sell the same amount of software as Kinect”1″ currently sells on the 360. Its better to reduce the costs by 50% and get more console sales than to force a Kinect sale. If you sell a console you sell a game, but forcing people to buy Kinect doesn’t guarantee any future game sales. MS should realise you sell a console to sell games, not cameras. MS should remove Kinect and price the Xbox $150 cheaper than the PS4. At $250 for a Xbox One the One would out sell the PS4
