PlayStation 4 to Be Playable at Eurogamer Expo

Gamer Network, who run Eurogamer and therefore their yearly show of games at Earl’s Court – Eurogamer Expo – have just let us know that the PlayStation 4 will be playable at this year’s expo.

The show runs from Thursday the 26th of September until Sunday the 29th, though all of the weekend tickets are now sold out. You can still purchase Thursday and Friday tickets here.

This will be the first time that the UK public will get to play the PS4, so expect big queues as 70,000 people are expected to be attending.

More games making an appearance will be announced in the coming months but currently confirmed titles include The Elder Scrolls Online, BattleField 4, NfS: Rivals, Assassin’s Creed IV, The Crew and Batman: Arkham Origins.

Attendees will also be able to get their hands on the VR headset Oculus Rift and plenty of indie games at the Rezzed section and Indie Games Arcade.

TSA will definitely have a presence at this year’s expo, as has been the norm for the past few years – personally, I should be there on Friday and Saturday. Hope to see you there!

  1. Brilliant news! Myself, James (Death_in_Flamez) and Chuggy will be there on the Friday with our TSA Racing teammate Phil. Hopefully you’ll see us parading around in our branded TSA Racing t-shirts! :D

    • You’ll see me looking really stressed and being a bit annoyed about the long queues!

      • Haha. I’m hoping I can wake up early enough to avoid too much queuing.

Anyone who sees us, feel free to tap me on the should and say hi! :D

      • There’s no avoiding them after 11 o’clock so I’ll be heading to PS4 first thing!

  2. Would like to get my hands on a PS4 and Oculus Rift but it’s a bit too far from where I live.

  3. Day made! Relieved I booked my weekend tickets well in advance. I’ma be all over the PS4 and Oculus Rift!

  4. I will be there on the Sunday. Woooop

  5. Already have my Sunday tickets, can’t wait. Hopefully won’t be too long a wait after the show for the UK release.

  6. I’ll be there on the Saturday (as has been the case for the past 2 years!) & will be avoiding this like the plague.

At least it should free up some of the games to play! :)

  7. What is the point of queuing up for an hour or whatever for a quick 5 min go?

  8. I’m going on the Thursday I hope it’s going to be quieter than at the weekend.
